That is right, but politicians don't know that.
How does somebody making 150,000 a year leave office with millions in the bank?
I would much rather have people that already have their money in these positions than people chasing the greenback.
If you think rich people stop chasing money when they become rich, then you do not know many rich people. I grew up with lots of them....inside and outside of my family.
Rich people chase money often with far more zeal and determination and reckless abandon than middle class people because they keep thinking that 'Okay, $10 million was not enough to make me happy, but I bet $30 million might.' And of course, it won't. For they are lost inside and do not realize it. Greed does that to you.
Look at Bernie Madoff and the countless rich people who go to great lengths (many illegal) to get even more money? Look at the growing income inequality in America...instigated by the rich to take more and more money from the masses.
I would FAR more trust a successful, grounded, upper middle class guy in cabinet than a rich person...by a mile.
And, on top of everything else, most rich people think of middle class and poor people as virtual parasites. They mean nothing to them. They only care about their fellow rich because that is now all they know.
This cabinet that Trump is building I guarantee you will care less about the common man/woman than any cabinet in recent memory. All most of them will care about is how to make themselves richer and more powerful. Guaranteed.
Any rich person who tells you he/she has enough money/power has either found 'God' (or something similar to fill that emptiness) or is lying through his/her teeth. And the ratio is, imo, about 1:9.
