Senior GOP Lawmaker Calls for Investigation of CIA Director Over Media Leaks on Russi

A senior Republican congressman called for an investigation into whether the head of the CIA leaked to the media while withholding from Congress the agency's findings that Russians used hacking in an attempt to help Donald Trump win the presidency.
"We have supposedly [CIA Director] John Brennan leaking information to The Washington Post, to a biased newspaper like The New York Times -- findings and conclusions that he's not telling the [House] Intelligence Committee," said Rep. Peter King of New York in an interview with ABC News' Martha Raddatz on "This Week."
King, a former chairman and current member of the House Intelligence Committee, was referring to news stories on Dec. 9 that cited either unnamed officials or intelligence sources and did not name Brennan as a source.

What a weird world we live in. Leftists have been trying to get the CIA investigated for years over its role in Latin American politics. The right has largely ignored those requests. The CIA looks into whether Russia had a role in US Elections... and suddenly a right wing voice like King decides it is the CIA who should be investigated.

I can't handle this much stupidity from both sides.

He has a legitimate point. The CIA released classified national security information to the Washington post but then when asked to provide information to Congress they refused. It sounds like the CIA is making up statements as they go and when they got called out on it by the House the CIA went into overdrive in order to begin forging documents.
