This is a very dumb statement given that America has subverted democracy far worse than what what anyone things the Russians have done here, which tells me that this is an attempt to undermine Trump, the legitimacy of Trump. Or maybe he really is this dumb. One thing for sure though is that the world order is comin down under pressure from the little people all the world around. The citizens, you know the ones who legitimatize governments, have had just about enough of failure and lies.


Vacuums get filled, yes they do. Sometimes with good and sometimes with bad and sometimes with both. American has not lead under Obama and after the criminal disaster of our military excursions in the ME.

The Presidency has been much worse than we can afford. How bad it will be, is not at all clear yet. But it is quite easily possible that the travers from stable unipolar security to the instability of a multipolar global order has just accelerated. If that is the case, the last eight years that Obama wasted might mean a catastrophe instead of just being very bad for the country. Then the development may no longer be controllable.

Hahahahahahaha used our institutions against us!? By what possibly leaking documents to a news agency that exposed all the war crimes lies and criminal activity of the DNC and the Clinton foundation?

Russia can control trump more than clinton!? LOL yea cuz you know clintons hasn't taken in millions of dollars of foreign donations 🙄🙄🙄.

It's obvious the democrats are sore losers now it's time to either A understand why most people can't stand the DNC, especially after what they did to Bernie, or B make up a scapegoat and do everything we occused trump of doing.. hmmm I guess I'll choose Option B

Don't forget the US interfering in elections all over the world for 50+ years the left was extremely critical of. Now the left forgets it and assumes it's the worst thing in the world when their candidate loses and comes up with some boneheaded assertion that hopefully makes everybody forget how evil these dnc officials are. At least some dnc are trying to reign in the grass roots.

McCain too...it is implied in his words...and while I dont like McCain like at all and the very last of many straws was Palin I dont for a second think that he was ever this dumb.

I'm all for transparency, but the fact is the soviets could've done the same to the rnc, and unearthed similar damning evidence of corruption, but did not, precisely because they wanted to rig the election. Meanwhile the soviets don't even have real elections

Assange had information on trump but the mainstream media already published it he said this... maybe it's the mainstream western media that is being 'unfair' here and attempting to engineer messages huh?
 
I just wish people talking about this would use language that accurately depicts what is being suggested here, instead of continuing the false representation that they're desperately trying to peddle for various reasons.

Russia did not "hack the election". Russia is accused of hacking the DNC and members of the Clinton campaign in an effort to INFLUENCE voters during the election. OR, if you have to put it in sound bite form, Russia tried to "influence the election" not "hack it".

When politicians and the media says "hack the election", the average person thinks you're talking about the actual VOTING PROCESS of the election. Why? Because it's impossible to "hack" a 2 year long process of the "election" as a whole.

If Russia was ACTUALLY hacking our election, that would be something that would absolutely threaten democracy and would be of EXTREME concern. There's no evidence or suggestion of that in any credible way thus far.

If Russia is trying to INFLUENCE our election, of which there is seeming evidence, then that is a problem that should be addressed but it is not some great concern to democracy. Various entities, both domestic and foreign, have wrongfully attempts to influence the election for years. While that doesn't mean it shouldn't be looked into and guarded against, it's not some existential threat to democracy.
