I gave Obama till about mid May before I decided that he sucked (an opinion which ended up sticking the whole way) , I figure I need to give Trump about that long to give a firm up or down...at least...4 months...something over 100 days...at least.

Ok because it is true we will converse. I am saying that some folks here whose panties are bunched up over Trump saying this either ignored when Hillary purposed it or gave her a pass because she has a D beside her name. I am saying it is foolish to think Hilary wouldn't have done the same thing, probably in a shady manner. I am saying issues like this got ignored buy both sides in favor of ***** grabbing rummors or fainting spells.

Yes it upsets me. If a crime is being committed them arrest folks. But having the government shutting down a groups communications simply because they don't a possible message they may or may not send goes against free speech.

ISIS has no rights, neither did the Nazis in 1941

But if it was up to u and the internet was around in 1941 with the Nazis using the internet to recruit and plan mass murder...u would be just fine with that

You are right Isis has no rights. But US citizens do. So you find a way to stop Isis communications without infringing upon citizens rights to free speech and then we can talk.

Why are you so willing to deny people their rights? What other rights need to go to keep you safe?

To be fair, the do make the right decision occasionally and I have come to the conclusion, a personal one, that sometimes even a bad decision is better than no decision. That way we know what we have to work on and correct. Why not star a thread in SCOTUS and we can discuss in detail.

We shut down terrorist websites all the time, we just need to get more aggressive about it and hold big social media companies more accountable..
If they want to stay in business then they will have to do a better job of complying with the law..

Why stop there? Trump can shut down all who oppose him as "terrorists" and we can have a "clean" internet like China has.
 
Stopping the unwise from doing an ability they don't have is a must. They get fooled by crooks. So trump will work with Russia and China to stop the unwise who then elects crooks. The world will then prosper
