‘A recipe for scandal’: Trump conflicts of interest point to constitutional[W:304]

Re: ‘A recipe for scandal’: Trump conflicts of interest point to constitutional crisi

You gave me your opinion. Which has already been proven not to hold water with the examples of both Franklin Roosevelt and RonaldReagan. Do NOT confuse your personal opinion supported with nothing with providing evidence that the EC is some sort of a check and balance on the power of the President because it does NOT do so and removal of it would not impact the powers or the President one jot or tittle.

Ronald Reagan has widespread support because his policies were not just conservative. Roosevelt was a special circumstance due to WW2 and the Great Depression. The EC is a check because it gives more power to states than to a popular vote, it also allows for a representation that mirrors congress. You may think it doesn't but opinions vary.

You trying desperately to rewrite revisionist history to cover your blatant and glaring error does not change the reality that you were dead wrong.

There are no states without the people comprising them. It is people in elections who have power - not geographic entities known as states who are nothing without the people in them.

And a hard right wing tyranny will replace it. Congratulations.

Doubtful, but I understand your syndrome.....
