I think "tyrant" is being kind.

He was a disgusting son of a bitch who deserved to be executed like Nicolae Ceaușescu... with all the Cubans watching and cheering.

This is the way commies work though. All for the Party and the Party elite reap the benefits while their people suffer. Can't really think of a commie nation where that didn't happen.
