Disruption in Chicago ‘Hamilton’ audience ends in man’s arrest

You said "You reap what you sow." What they reaped was a maniac making death threats.

Death threats. Don't be such a drama queen. Crybaby liberals turned this play into a platform for their political tantrums and now it is just that

The time and place was more than appropriate. He's the damned VP elect. Everywhere he is is the time and place to voice our opinion.

How about those people in the audience who came to see a play and not listen to some whiny liberal voice his displeasure for not getting what he wanted out of the last election. Do liberals have to infect everything with their political nonsense?

I think you're mixing up the stories.

The man who disrupted the show was someone who supported Trump. What I was commenting on was the fact that the actors who the made the statement after the show on Broadway, which started this whole thing, was more than appropriate.

Both are examples of people feeling their personal opinion is more important than providing the audience with the product they paid for. A real egotistical ****head move. On the ****head scale saying I'll kill you is a lot higher than represent us all.

Bottom line is if I go for a theater night I want to be ebtertained without political commentary. If I wanted their political commentary I will go to a bar and buy them a drink.

Wasn't the political comment made by the actor after the show

That would be AFTER the show. You need to highlight for some.

Both were a case of someone deciding that expressing their point of view was more important than anything the other patrons had going on. Both actions were selfish and both were rude. It would be intellectually dishonest to condemn one and not the other.

One action disrupted the play... the other did not. That you fail to recognize this fact is not at all surprising.

Not to mention, it happened (NY version) after the play had concluded.

I really don't care if it is before during or after taking a bow. If I didn't pay extra for or get a discount because of someone's politics then I don't care to hear them on my night out. Just as the ****head on a soap box dosent want to hear everyone's opinion on poitics in return for expressing theirs. The presidential thing to do is put those rants on Twitter or Facebook.

Seems to me that Pence being in the audience gave them the idea to tell him how they feel...after the show. Works for me.

How about they were paid to do their job, not paid for their ****ing political opinion. If they want to give their political opinion then they should have done so off the ****ing stage.

Bull****

So everyone is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

No....

He was a being a patron to the theatre at the time of the event....enjoying an evening out....just like the other hundreds of patrons watching the show

Only he was called out because the actors decided they wanted to embarrass him for political reasons

Wrong time, wrong place....

Send him a letter or a video....don't be an ass.....but that seems that is the modus operandi for too many people today

I don't care how respectful the message was.....the delivery was the issue....

When you're the VP, yes. Don't like the heat, get out the ****ing kitchen.

How about they were paid to do their job, not paid for their ****ing political opinion.

They did their job. Afterward, they also expressed their opinion.

If they want to give their political opinion then they should have done so off the ****ing stage.

This is nothing more than a matter of your... that's right... opinion. I don't agree... too ****ing bad.

Which wasn't in their job description. They needed to shut the **** up.

Were they paid for their political opinion by anyone in the house? No. How is that opinion?

So you obviously also think that Trump was completely in the wrong. He could have called, sent a letter or a video, but going to twitter to whine like a child is obviously not the presidential thing to do. And I'm sure you find him doing that to be a MUCH larger problem than an actor on his stage making a short speech.

If not you are a MASSIVE hypocrite, but I'm sure I can search and find you condemning the President Elect for his behavior all over this board.

I'm willing to bet that you wouldn't be saying that if say Clinton had won and Kaine had been in the audience at a Larry the cable guy or Jeff Foxworthy production and one of them had rattled off something about their opinions directly to the VP.

I'm willing to bet you would have your panties in a great big knot if that were the scenario. Right?

Let me guess: the whole free speech thing goes out the window right about, now.
Not at all, you're free to walk into a theater.
, flip people off, call them names, threaten to kill, start screaming and swearing. You're free to do that until you're removed from the premises and/or arrested.

That Liberal double standard at it again.
