as of 7:30 it's not known if Flynn has accepted the job.

I'm keeping track of all cabinet announcements.
Sounds like a solid choice.

I will mainly be interested in AG, Secy of State and Secy of Defense myself. Priebus and Bannon as CoS and chief Strategist should prove an interesting combination. I am not big on Priebus personally, but balancing an establishment type with a hard core grass roots conservative firebrand, Trump should at least getting the views of those two extremes and can then make his decisions.

Thanks for keeping us apprised.

Flynn is a former paratrooper from Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, so he understands boots-on-the-ground warfare and the enemy quite well.

Priebus has good ties with Ryan, who's also from Wisconsin. Good for cooperation with Congress

He keeps making a lot of offers for the same jobs. I am starting to wonder if most people keep turning his offers down.

This is probably true. Carson and Newt Gingrich will not be serving in the cabinet. Trump has let Christie go. Giuliani may be next on the way out.

It's a good thing Crazy Carson declined. I did find it interesting that he cited the reason for refusing the job as not being qualified to lead a government agency, but the guy wanted to be President.

Why do you think Giuliani is on the way out?

Kushner seemed angry that Giuliani was basically claiming that he had already gotten the job. Giuliani's been pretty silent lately in general. So I'm guessing they shut him up, and at the very least won't get offered any high profile gig. Too many people are strong-arming trump at the moment for that to happen. Unless he does it at 3 AM. :lamo

Carson probably be alright in charge of health. Hadn't heard the last part, but did laugh reading that as I agree it seems an odd reason after running for the nomination for President (especially as he'd have better qualifications for HHS than President.

A pick that seems we are going to be heading into another war within a year after Trump is elected

Flynn had said:

“This approach is doomed. “We’re not going to talk our way out of this war, nor can we escape its horrors. We have to destroy the enemy armies and combat enemy doctrines. Both are doable,” Lieutenant General Flynn concluded.

The only way to do that will be boots on the ground.
