Police in Portland, Ore. declared that a once peaceful protest was a riot after demonstrators were seen attacking drivers and committing acts of vandalism during their march against Donald Trump’s election Thursday night.
Portland police said at least 29 people were arrested in the riot and that more information would be given on the charges Friday morning.

And this out of Chicago yesterday....

So, now here we are...All those that were just three days ago criticizing Trump for not
Immediately conceding the election before it happened, are now those in the streets lashing out at what ever, or whom ever they perceive voted for Trump, and not Clinton...And if they aren't there, then they are curled up at home crying tears of the childish, "it's just not fair!"

What the hell people...Is that what liberals want their party to be seen as? Fragile snowflakes that can't take loss, or criminal thugs that want to force their view on the rest of us? Keep it up people....It'll be decades before you win again if you keep this kind of **** up.

Wait, the media said Republicans would violently protest if they lost, even though they never do.

These animals are EXACTLY why Trump won.

I just wonder whose payroll these folks are now on after the Clinton campaign closed shop... maybe doing some pro bono work?

Soros comes to mind...This is his brand of chaos.

This is from the Oakland protest....

If these rioters are indeed hired and paid for, why aren't the instigators arrested and prosecuted and at least held responsible for the damages?
Anyone who suffers material or bodily harm should demand charges being brought against the whole lot.

George Soros is getting his money's worth again

The backlash from the losers can be terrible.

Wait, the media said Republicans would violently protest if they lost, even though they never do.

These animals are EXACTLY why Trump won.

Besides the fact that you're calling human beings animals rather than simply saying that they're behaving like them, yours is a gross oversimplification. This was an extraordinary election, and historians and political scientists will be analyzing it for years.

Most of us understand frustration. We all appreciate the right to vent, legally and peacefully. I draw the line at violence of any sort. Their rights end where my rights are infringed upon.

The shocking, and odious nature of those acting out in the streets using violence because they didn't get their way in the election is what is gross here....Frustrated yes, even mad about how the demo's could put up such a flawed candidate as Hillary Clinton who couldn't even beat what most characterized as a "clown" in this election, and he beat liberals using their own vile, name calling tactics is a cherry on top...But, when this turns into violence in the street, instead of how you all put it, "the peaceful transition of power", well, does any of this look peaceful to you?

If someone called it a "blacklash" would that be racist?

Re: 'Professional protesters' riot over Trump's election, attacking bystanders and va

It is fine and well to make your frustration known, but tearing up people's property, and violently attacking elderly people is criminal.

Criminals should go to jail.

Nope since Van Jones was praised for referring to the Hillary rejection as a "whitelash".

Calling them animals insults animals. Animals don't engage in senseless violence. These people aren't animals, they're idiots, criminals and thugs.

'This was a whitelash': Van Jones' take on the election results - CNNPolitics.com

"This was a whitelash against a changing country," Jones said. "It was whitelash against a black president in part. And that's the part where the pain comes."

Late to the party, term has been picked up (well it's whitelash in this case, but same thing really).

No, it looks like a bunch of sore-loser crybabies having a public tantrum and others taking advantage, as they do, to act out. When it turns violent, it becomes criminal.

Cruelly so, indeed!!

Just curious exactly how many normal protestors we're supposed to paint with your broad brush for each violent protester? I mean if 30 people break things in Portland Oregon, do we then get to claim that the thousands of people who protested in NYC are violent thugs too?

What's the right ratio?

Black lives matter has funded some in the past. As far as I know, that is all they do.

Why would that be? Van Jones called the vote a "whitelash"....

Watch from 1:20 on....

My suggestion is make sure you can protect yourself! The police are minutes away when you need
help now. My guess would be the people causing the trouble don't even know why they are acting
in a criminal fashion other than Trump is bad!! They will be egged on by social media.
This behavior will continue for years.

Take a self defense class . There are classes for all levels be it beginner or advanced.
Consider training for and buying a firearm. Not to be a vigilante but to have the means
to protect your self or your family. It's up to each individual to be prepared start
right now. It's just going to get crazier!
