Boss Says Employees Who Agree With Trump's Rhetoric Should Resign

Apples and potatoes.

Hey conservatives, I thought one's private business is his purview. When bakeries got into trouble for refusing to make cakes for gays, you were crying and wallowing in victimhood. You called it religious freedom. Now that the shoe appears to be in the other foot, you're all seem outraged and chagrined.

As for the report at hands, the CEO is adapting to a new political reality where he has to set clear boundaries. Don't blame him; he didn't put those abject views in Trump's mouth.

Yes he does. He says that "If you don't agree with this statement". I take that to mean the whole statement, not just the part about employee behaviors. Or, again, why even mention Trump?

Mentioning Trump is simply to justify the memo. Nothing else.

"Statement" refers the preceding statement not the entire document. While it's possible that he meant statement to the entire document and not is anti discrimination paragraph that precedes it, that's not the way English is normally interpreted and as such you'd have to assume that is not what he meant.

More to the point he published a clarification, it's in the link I posted in case you haven't read it, that matches my, and I'd suggest most people's interpretation.
