Canadians want to build a wall, too — to keep Americans out

Oh, I think we all know who would win if the US decided to take the oh so populated territory to our North should we EVER so desire.

Ha ha ha ha... and you folks tremendously benefit from having such a strong, powerful and RICH neighbor to your south who has been a friend. Should that ever change and we decide otherwise, Canada will not exist as a nation, just as a possession of the US.

So, might best shut thy trap and stay on our good side. Eh?

Thanks for the laugh, I needed one.

If they look and act like me I don't mind.

So, Canadians, please come.
This seems hypocritical especially if the basis is their illegal status.
Ass you stated this it sounds like your are prejudiced against those who do not "look and act like" you.

Give it time, my friend. It's only just sunk in that an orange monkey has been elected leader and chief.

1. Rachel Madcow hasn't been elected President.
2. Masses of liberals are not going to emigrate, to Canada or elsewhere. It is a pipe dream.

Are those Mexicans crossing illegally? They aren't. Are they?

Kinda hard to do it illegally when the legality is pretty much next to nothing. But way to move the goalposts... your initial bitch was that Canada needed to step up and accept mexicans... so either, your breath really stinks or you are just talking out of your arse again.

Let's be friends...

If it's so easy then why aren't illegals pouring across the canadian border?

Nope just dependent on Canadian natural resources, and electricity...

Probably no more so than Canada is dependent on the US for various things.

The thing about a 30 million population inhabiting the third largest country. They don't really need a lot. Most of their imports are non essential luxury items. Anything they really need, they could also get from GB. The US needs Canada, a lot more than Canada needs the US.

I have a few American friends who've been trying to get up here the past couple of years, mostly because of how downhill things are going back home. It's been difficult for them. A lot of Americans are finessing the idea of coming here don't realize that it's not that simple, and that you aren't just entitled to move to Canada because you want to. The Canadian gov closed all the loopholes back in the war dodger days.

I'm glad I got out years ago. The lineup to get in is probably huge now, and I don't blame people for abandoning ship.

I still care deeply about my roots and the people I know in the U.S. but the point we have arrived at is the exact reason why I had to go. The writing was on the wall after 9/11. Couldn't be around the madness any longer and knew it was just going to get worse. :(
