Top Democrats are ratcheting up their criticism of FBI Director James Comey for going public with a decision to revisit the Hillary Clinton email probe days before the election, with a few even hinting they want him fired -- though President Obama has shown little indication he'd oblige right now.
Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s chief adviser, reportedly is among those who want Comey gone.
“Valerie argued that Comey was interfering deliberately in the election process and had to be stopped,” a source told The New York Post. The same source said Obama, though, is “worried about the consequences of taking such an action – the tsunami of outrage that would come his way, and possibly become a major footnote, or worse, in the history of the presidency.”

I wish Comey would unleash the fury and just go arrest all the crooked bastards in the government. You know damn well they all have something they're hiding.

And after the first few arrests, and politicians started cutting deals to stay out of jail, they'd all start running for cover.

I read somewhere 2 days ago something to the effect "The D's are whack, it is NEVER a good idea to piss off the FBI director".

The liberal hypocrisy is amazing. he was cheered their champion while he bowed to their wishes.
now facing new evidence that was going to get out one way or another he had to re-open the case.

which happens all the time they are attempting to drive him out.

Obama of course will probably fire him and put in another one of his stooges if possible.
this administration knows no level of corruption.

And rightly so. Just having an outside server with State deparment business on it is a crime, not to mention the umpteen other things wrong with this. Anybody else would be in prison.

Then was has the Republican House & Senate passed a law making this illegal?
Others did the same back door tricks to get around FOI and record trails.

Comey sent a letter to congress, just as he had sworn to congress that he would.
It was a congressman that leaked the letter. Of course, the Hill leaks like a sieve, both parties.

If he planned this ahead of time by providing that unprecedented and unjustified oath- that would make it even worse.

I would like to think that there is at least one branch of government that hasn't been infected with partisan politics. Right now, I would tend to agree with you that Comey should have said nothing to congress this close to an election. But for me, it will ultimately depend on what his agents reported to him that they found on Carlos Dangers computer. The guy was very determined NOT to reopen this investigation, so the fact that he did tells me he found compelling reason to do so. If that turns out to not be true then I would oppose what he did and expect him to resign. There is clearly a lot more going on here than we average citizens know.

If I may paraphrase.

'How DARE Comey report that additional evidence in the case against Hillary be brought to light!
How DARE he honor his commitment to congress!
Doesn't he know any better?
Doesn't he know his place?
Damn the truth. Damn the criminality. Damn integrity. Damn corruption. Hillary just HAS to be president.'

Is that about right?

Frankly, Comey screwed it up the first time, probable due to political pressure from Lynch, the White House and God only knows from where else. It's blatant to see. A 15 minute recitation of all the criminality of Hillary, specific to this case anyway, only to invent a 'intent' loop hole for Hillary that doesn't apply to a single other sole on the planet.

That's a sham. That's just more corruption.
