Steven Seagal given Russian citizenship

They've been stroking each other for a while now apparently:

President Putin signed a decree to make the award to the martial arts expert, who starred in Hollywood action thrillers during the 1990s.
Seagal is friends with Mr Putin, who he has described as "one of the greatest world leaders".

Mr Putin's spokesman said Seagal was known for his warm feelings towards Russia and his status as a famous actor was a reason to make him a citizen.​

I used to wait on Seagal. He came to this little restaurant in Sonoma County quite a few times. Never really talked to him much though...

I have a famous martial artist friend who met Seagal when they both were champions in Akido in Japan. Said he was the most arrogant POS she ever met. On the other hand, she said Chuck Norris was a true gentleman and humble martial artist

My friends dad trained with Bruce Lee and while he liked him immensely he also had nothing but great things to say about Chuck whom he also trained with...

I have heard the same. But it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has watched interviews of them.

That's the underground rumors I've heard of the guy as well. Another rumor would be that he cash-whipped his way into some tibetian monk status.

Another one of my regulars were All Star Angels pitcher Chuck Finely and super model from Whitesnake Video's Tawny Kitaen...

Don't get me started on my short time neighbor Dennis Rodman and the couple times we went to parties at his house...

I am gonna win this battle that is completely shallow and meaningless... ;)

Norris came from a poor dustbowl environment background-joined the USAF to escape the crushing poverty he grew up in. When he became famous, he made sure people who grew up with him got parts or jobs in his movies and shows. His brother Aaron was a main part of his movie career as were some native Americans he had as friends as a kid. One of his brothers was KIA in Vietnam

didn't know that but I think he got busted hunting elk out of season (he also claims to be a Buddhist and against hunting-go figure).

Not to mention to be in such a field of high level martial arts... especially in the monk world, it's about discipline. Then go put in a video of his ginormous fat ass going through Phoenix with Joe Arpaio acting like a tough guy. Comes off like a fraud IMO.

Puhhhlleeeeze. You'll never be able crest the pinnacle of fame greatness that is Enos. Also went to the same high school with a couple that have played for the Cowboys in the NFL.
