Donald Trump: 'I will totally accept' election results 'if i win' - CNNPolitics.com

Donald Trump said Thursday he will accept the results of next month's election if he wins, a caveat that threatens to cast unprecedented doubt on the legitimacy of the electoral process.

Trump offered a stunning declaration during the final presidential debate that he might not accept the results of next month's election. In his first speech since the debate, Trump seemed to simultaneously double down on the stance he articulated Wednesday night while also trying to clean it up.

He's just trolling now.

Well why wouldn't he? He can't pull out the RIGGED card if he ends up winning the election.

Well, that's not entirely true. He can acknowledge that it's rigged and since he's won he doesn't care.

Just now?

Before last night his trolling was mildly obscured by his desire to be President, but now he knows there's no chance he can win. I suspect that in as far as this election goes he has just enough energy to troll the public, and that's it. He's already moved on to the post-election cluster****, or TrumpTV, or both...who knows. But with this headline the persona we've come to know as Campaign Trump is officially over.

Expect a lot crazier trolling in the next couple weeks.

TrumpTV was more than likely his goal from the onset. Too bad the Trumpkins weren't smart enough to see that, and stop him.

His quote is remarkably similar to AL Gore's actions when Gore demanded a recount of a recount using only methodologies that favored him (reshuffle part of the deck until I win). Al Gore then rejected a State court ruling that effectively confirmed his loss and went to SCOTUS insisting that the deck shuffling continue until he got a result that he was happy with.

In short, the only result Al Gore was only inclined to accept was the result he wanted. He just ran out of options. If it was good for Gore, its good for Trump.

It wouldn't have killed him to try a Kickstarter campaign first.

That would be true if any of that wasn't false.

I can't open the link, but these 8 Liberals were all candidates for President, saying it was rigged before the actual election?

Not sure why you can't open the link. I just did. No, they were not all POTUS candidates. I hate Trump, but I also hate Dem hypocrisy.

OK, what part is false? Face the reality:

- Al Gore lost on election day (rejected)
- Al Gore lost the recount (rejected)
- Al Gore demands a recount of a recount on select ballots
- Florida Supreme Court effectively says Gore lost (rejected, Gore demands that the selected re-count of a re-count continue)
- SCOTUS effectively says Gore lost (accepted-finally)

Good for him and us.

Why should anybody, any intelligent body, agree to something beforehand when they have no idea how the future will be managed. That's based on having no idea. What if we do have an idea, we see the undeniable DNC rigging, we have seen collusion with the main stream media, Clinton supported operators trying to disrupt Trump rallies...

The look the other way, nothing to see here folks is an immediate red flag...something to see here folks.

No.

Your version is a cartoon of a cartoon of a cartoon, told third hand. Read the full timeline here.

2000 Post-Election Timeline of Events

My version is an accurate summary of that time line. The core point that you cant handle is that Al Gore refused to accept his loss until he had no other option left.

Your version is dumbed down for troglodytes who want to believe a simplified fairy tale. My version is detailed and accurate, albeit dry and boring.

You cant handle the truth!

Face the truth- it won't hurt. Al Gore was not inclined to accept a result other than: "Gore wins". SCOTUS realized that and called him on it when they noted that Gore wanted only some ballots re-counted yet again.

I do not think he really wants to win. This has all been a game and he will probably get a TV show out of it. He has achieved making America look like a joke to our allies and enemies and for that he is DEPLORABLE!!

I actually think Trump did want to win.

But he's already burned that bridge down to cinders...

The NUMBER ONE offender and highest ranking "liberal" is:

Labor Union Leader Roseann Demoro

followed by ever the household name :NYU Professor Mark Crispin Miller

This is why I don't trust conservatives.

Do you think he has the discipline and temperament to deal with the challenges of being President?

I think when he started he merely wanted to screw with the process and keep his brand out there. I think the early wins surprised him more than anyone, particularly since he had no ground game.

And I believe he believed his own press and really did think he was the greatest. Further, I seriously doubt he's laying down. He's had a junkie's rush of fame for ten ten months, he's not going to get that monkey off his back all that easily

I think its funny that those whom give Trump the most crap for his riged election theory will scream the loudest about a riged election if Trump wins.
