Ecuador Admits It Has 'Temporarily Restricted' Assange's Internet Access

Re: Ecuador Ordered Assange’s Internet Cut Off to Tilt Election Toward Clinton: Exper

I meant that in that you seem to post whatever Wikileaks releases.

Does any of the info released bother you?

Or perhaps they're holding it as blackmail against Hillary until she gives them something they want. That's why they made the press release public, to show that they were serious about releasing the data unless she concedes to what the Ecuadorans want from her as president.

Rafael Correa is sort of a kooky guy. He's strange at times. But he's not stupid. And if you underestimate him, you'll find yourself wishing you hadn't. The guy has taken control of a country that went though some extremely hard times, and now they have nice highways and highspeed internet and good plumbing and reliable electricity. They went through 5 presidents in 7 years. But he's loved very much, in spite of his weirdness, because he's made Ecuador better. Much better.

And he's not anti-American, I don't think, he's just not willing to be pushed around by the USA. And I respect that. He went to university in the US. He doesn't hate us, he just wants us out of their business. And I agree with him.

And Ecuador did the world a favor by cutting off Julian Assange from the Internet at their London embassy.

A favor to the world? You mean stopping the truth is a favor? We'd rather continue lies?

I told you I like Correa in all his kookiness, but he's surely all about himself like any other politician. And Hillary has promised them something. Otherwise, Correa would let the secrets flow from Assange.

I don't like foreign powers meddling in our elections.

Assange should just go read a book.

You prefer your meddling to be home grown?

Re: Ecuador Ordered Assange’s Internet Cut Off to Tilt Election Toward Clinton: Exper

Experts are saying that Ecuador ordered Assange's internet to be cut off in order to tilt the election towards Hillary Clinton:

Ecuador ordered Assange?s internet cut off to tilt election toward Clinton, experts say | Fox News Latino

So here's a Lefty foreign leader, and he wants Hillary to win. Is he interfering with the US elections?

He is an asylum seeker in their country. Allowing him to continue to illegally release stolen private communications not subject to public transparency laws which very clearly target one person in particular would strain relations especially since that candidate is likely going to win the election. Its politics. What do you expect?

Ecuador probably stopped Assange from meddling with our elections

I prefer no meddling at all.

I would also but in this election there has been meddling from both sides foreign and domestic.

But surely you're fine with the government reading your emails and listening to your phone calls. She was in charge of the State Dept. You want them reading your private thoughts, but if we listen to their messages, oh hell!

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

If their rights are not protected, mine are not protected.

Agreed. This should be something everyone can get behind. I didn't like the NYT releasing Trump's tax records even though it makes my skin crawl that he won't do it on his own, but that's my problem and it wasn't the NYT's place to do it.

We're talking about foreigners meddling in a U.S. election. It should outrage every American.

That's a dodge. I'm not trying to bait you here, rather attempting to learn if you're troubled by what 's in the documents.

Is this your own quote, or is there a source?

Speaking just for myself, I would be troubled if the revelations in those documents painted Clinton to be worse than her opponent. Thus far I've seen no evidence to have that concern.

Ecuador said that. I was there.

Ecuador also said, "My butt keeps itching. I want it to stop."

I was there when it happened.

I accept that possibility.

So far the smoke coming out of their guns have been from squibs, rather than the sharp crack of high-powered magnums!

Seems that way. Womp womp :(

Assenge is a Trump fan? Who would have thought...
