So you find foreign influence equitable to domestic special interest? That is at best stupid, and at worse treasonous.
Uhh, how American is George Soros, really? He's a Hungarian businessman who believes in One World Global Governance, and the dissolution of nations. He's based in Europe, working for these goals. He's spending lots of money for this purpose.
My dad was in the financial industry and used to work with some Hungarian contemporaries of Soros - people who later became wealthy financiers themselves. Their worldviews were shaped by their experience of escaping upheaval in Europe and their mistrust of nations. Of course all these people have big hangups about Russia, and they'll always be reliving the Cold War or WW2.
Look, the rest of us can't live orbiting around their unique personal experiences - we all have lives to live and can't all be subordinated to their peculiar needs/whims.
