ORLANDO, Fla. - A Seminole County jury deliberated for nearly four hours Friday before finding a man guilty of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm for shooting at George Zimmerman's truck in May.

The jury also convicted Matthew Apperson, 27, of shooting into an occupied vehicle and aggravated assault with a firearm.

Gotta love the irony here though. He is guilty because he initiated the confrontation with Zimmerman (sound familiar) and then claimed self defense/syg and justified that he fired because he thought Zimmerman had a gun (sound familiar).

Now that you mention it.

Trayvon is the one who initiated the confrontation with Zimmerman. Just like Apperson did.

Trayvon assaulted Zimmerman, just as Apperson did.

Ok so one guy out assholed the other and goes to jail. He won that asshole contest. That does not negate that this case involved two assholes with guns suffering from road rage.

No. There was only one person there in the wrong. That was Apperson. Not Zimmerman.

What an absurd reply.
Zimmerman did not inject himself into anything here.
Apperson saw him and pursued, caught up to him and tried to engage him in an argument. Zimmerman then dismissed his idiocy and closed the passenger window, at which time Apperson went off and shot at him.
