(CNN) — Investigators believe a twin-engine airplane was intentionally crashed onto a busy street in Connecticut, killing a student pilot, local police and a federal official said Wednesday. The Piper PA 34 light aircraft went down Tuesday afternoon on Main Street in East Hartford near the front gate of Pratt & Whitney, a manufacturer of aircraft engines for both civil and military aviation, raising fears the crash was an act of terrorism.

East Hartford police and federal authorities did not give the student pilot's name, but on Wednesday night the mayor and police chief in Orland Hills, Illinois, called a news conference and identified him as Feras M. Freitekh, a Jordanian national with a student visa.

We're already hearing the usual spiel from the media: "he wasn't religious according to family members". I've heard this now a million times, and then the FBI finds Isis fanboi pictures on the guy's computer.

The last terror attack by a Muslim immigrant in the U.S. occurred only a month ago, in Washington state. 5 people were killed, and the media stopped covering the story when pro Isis pictures were found in his social media accounts.

Sounds like the typical smokescreen before we learn of his 'rapid radicalization', and affinity for Isis.
The father of the Bastille Day attacker claimed that he was off his meds, and that's why he killed people, then we learned that the father had been paid $80,000 by Isis
They know exactly how to play some people in the west like fiddles, and say what will tug at their heart strings.

For now, most journalists are saying the usual excuses, like, 'he was having personal problems, yada yada'.
The FBI will investigate, and eventually find links to Isis, which is how most of these types of stories end up.
