Oh I know that is the inevitable outcome, and I have said time and time again no matter which wins WE lose. I simply refuse to back one or the other enough of this lesser of evils, there isn't one between the two. Really does not matter how I vote anyway the EC will tell us who they descried is going to win.

One never just throws up one's hands when headed towards a cliff, you keep your hands on the wheel and steer it through... no matter what.

We DO know what it will be like under the disaster that will be Obama 3, the election of Hill. Granted. Granted it may just be as bad with Trump, but at least its there is a sliver of a hope that it is not. Trump also has a fairly solid VP choice.

As to the electoral college, I have far more confidence in the rationale behind that system, what it does for us as a national community, how it balances small states with the larger populated states and in all except for two states it takes a majority of voters in a state to achieve the EC votes from that state. I lived in Florida during the 2000 election, the popular vote determining the EC vote in Florida was extremely close.

For one, I am damned glad I voted because it DID mean something large.

Your negativity is hardly inspiring, is not the way to solve problems and certainly is not persuasive.

You believe the slide can be controlled or stopped, I know it cannot and no matter how much you smash on the brakes or try turning the wheel we are going to go over that cliff.
Oh and I doubt anyone really knows what either one of them would be like as President but sadly we are going to find out one way or the other.

I think we know close enough what would happen if that A bomb that is Hillary were to be elected.

Look, understand that we just had 8 years of Obama, it may be a pretty bumpy ride, but he has taken us close enough to the bottom that even if we go over the cliff it'll be a fairly short fall.

How quickly we forget the Chimp in Chief, GOP amnesia 2001-2008. Bush2 set the bar so low, Obama and Clinton look positevely competant.

Get your A out and vote the other way then. I am way down here in Panama and gonna make sure my vote is in there.

Sure we can hurt in a big way, but we have let be sown the seeds of our heritage's utter annihilation already. Clinton's election would seal the deal, but we have been in a hole before, we can climb back out if you do not bang us over the head with that ugly shovel.

Haste does make waste, GW did allow us to fall into a deep debt hole, but to compare his admin unfavorably to the O bomb's admin? That is a bridge too far.

Speaking of haste, in an effort to look a bit more positively competent perhaps you should not ignore your spell check in spelling your terms correctly. Does not give off the air of competency when you spell both positively and competent incorrectly. Just a suggestion.

I plan on voting just not in the Presidential Race, it would not matter any more than yours will, we do not elect the President, you know that, right?

Oh we will climb back out but we will no longer be the United States, that experiment has run it's course, but first the People have get their wake up call.

People in glass houses should double check there postings, but we already know you find that to mentally
challenging, its obvious by the content, with or with proper punctuation.

I know it was you that I discussed the EC with back in #127 and also, without going into the details of the EC and its benefits explained that my vote did, very much, count in the 2000 election. If you have been following just our discussion here, how could you not answer that question before you put it in a reply?

So, unless you mean other than we elect the electors, I got no idea where you are headed with that question.

Myself, as it seems to me that we come from almost different planets with our viewpoints, conservative and liberal, being so far apart, I would not mind seeing conservative minded states that desire to retain our heritage, institutions, laws and maintain the original intent of the Constitution peacefully exit, a la Brexit, the sinking ship we currently know as the USA... to become perhaps the TUSA, the True United States.

David Vitter - number appeared in DC madam's contacts...Vitter acknowledged it, and asked forgiveness, his fate is up to the voter. Still nowhere near Gerry Studd's. More Bill Clinton like.

Larry Craig - Admitted guilt, paid fines, and resigned from office....Certainly NOT what a liberal does.

Scott Eugene DesJarlais - from what I see, a flawed man that cheated on his wife with at least 6 other women....Sound like Bill Clinton....

John Ensign - Ok, had an affair, and resigned.....Again, NOT what you would expect to see from a liberal...Here is what you get from liberals....
