I'm an independent, with some seriously-libertarian leanings.
I have also traveled all around the world, and made friends with many men and women of all races, colors, faiths, and persuasions.
I have had intimate relationships with many of those.
I know something about people.
The ASTOUNDING thing that I have observed over the past few years regarding the Democrat's relationship with 'African Americans' and 'black voters' is this:
Just how insulting and demeaning their approach is to blacks.
To wit;
You are too stupid to obtain a photo ID, so we are going to change voting laws to make sure that you won't have to produce a photo ID to vote for us.
(Never mind, they already need a photo ID to buy beer, purchase a cell phone, rent a car, get on an airliner, etc etc etc)
You are too stupid to fend for yourself and get a job, so we are going to pander to you and make sure you always have a check in the mail each month, if you really don't want to work anyway.
Just vote for us, okay?
You are too stupid to get into college and obtain a degree, so we will change laws and policies to make sure that you get into school ahead of people of other races, and we are going to say nice things about you, though we really don't want you for neighbors here in our gated communities, but hey, please just vote for us, mmmm-kay?
In my objective opinion, I believe that more and more blacks are waking up to the fact that Democrat policies aren't doing them any good.
They are waking up to the fact that they are constantly being insulted by the very people who pander for their votes.
And I say bravo to them.
Welcome to the independent, free-thinking society of enlightened Americans.
Go to the polls and vote for the men and women who are sharp, honest, and who really care about you and the long-term good of the nation.
And disregard the little (R) or (D) behind their name.
Do your homework, and vote with your good intellect, not the shepherd-leading-sheep-like influence of dishonest politicians.
