"For the first time in a century, the New Hampshire Union Leader chose not to endorse the Republican nominee for president—and is instead backing Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. “Americans are being told that we have to choose the lesser of two evils,” Union Leader publisher Joe McQuaid wrote in an editorial published Wednesday night. “No, we don’t.”

That's exactly what we're being told. The huckster versus the harridan are each saying they're better than the other guy. Some suckers are backing Trump because, they say, they want to stick their finger in the eye of the Washington elites.

Sorry, but Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are both Washington elites, both liberal Democrats, both New Yorkers by birth or by choice.

If you want to tell the Washington elites, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more," don't settle for the two elites they've presented you as choices. Vote for anyone but Sen. Clinton or Mr. Trump. When you're told, "You have to pick one of the two," just say, "No we don't."

Johnson just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully this will all reach a climax in November.

We started threads about this at the same time. Oops.

The UL also endorsed Chris Christie in our primary, and then officially denounced their own endorsement of him right after he dropped out and endorsed Trump.

If someone asked me what are the odds of the UL ever NOT endorsing the Republican nominee, I would have said they were slightly lower than the odds of my husband morphing into Brad Pitt while we're sleeping. But then again, I never suspected the Republican nominee would be a fraudulent liberal Democratic con man like Donald Trump.

The bigger Johnson gets, the more he'll be able to stick it to them.

Bill Clinton won with under 50% of the vote thanks to Perot, ironic that many are hoping for the same result 20 years later for his wife.

And she is a much bigger threat to liberty.

But is there enough wiggle room between the two majors for him to achieve any real penetration?

And she is a much bigger threat to liberty.

I would agree. The next president could appoint 3-4 supreme court justices. This will impact our lives much more than 4-8 years on any president. Trump has tried to talk about this. Not done a good job so far.

It's going to be funny to watch all the right wing anti-Trumpers start crawfishing later, when they're reminded that the supported an open borders, anti-2nd Amendment ticket.

You're confused. The anti-trumpers aren't supporting the guy who hires illegal aliens, wants to keep guns away from "enemies of the state", outsources his clothing line to China, and has been a liberal Democrat his whole life. No, the supporters of this huckster are Trumpkins. And, do you really want Donald's sister on the Supreme Court?

If Trump wins it will be fun watching you.

Trump doesn't really do a good job with much when it comes to trying to sound like an intelligent and well meaning politician.

It's going to be funny to watch all the alt-right wing pro-Trumpettes start crawfishing later, when they're reminded that they supported a liberal democrat.

Maybe, but we already know that the Johnson/Weld ticket is open borders, pro-executive action to circumvent Congress, anti-2A, pro-eminent domain, pro-affirmative action, pro-Onama and supports more EPA regulation.

Bingo, and the libs don't care about anything else. She can appoint justices from her hospital bed, it's doesn't matter. This race is really about the Supreme Court.

No, not so much. It's not open borders, despite the fact that they will allow immigration. I don't think that people who use the "open borders" term actually know what it means. He's not looking to get around the congress, the anti-2nd amendement claim is dumb, he's cetainly not pro-eminent domain so there's another dumb and dishonest claim, he does have some ideas for social programs, and of course the EPA does need to exist in general.

So what else do you have in your bag of lies and deception? Is it that you don't want honest discussions of Johnson because it will turn out that he's far more "conservative" than the Clinton loving Trump?

hahahaha

Come back with proof and the truth instead of lies and deflection.

I've seen people claim here that Johnson is sucking more votes away from Hillary than Trump. I'm curious to see the alternate universe where that is actually true.

I love it when you try to speak for "the libs." It's totes adorbz, seriously.

I'm still waiting for the first time you post anything of value here on DP.

You mean they supported Trump? The trump that likes using visa and illegal workers in his own businesses, like to out source his products and supports banning guns? Or the one running today claiming he didn't really believe all those things for decades, this year he's different?

Johnson claims to side with Bernie Sanders 73% of the time, so that's realistic.

Is that how you interpret what I posted?
