Congress Passes Bill to Let 9/11 Families Sue Saudi Arabia, Obama Expected to Veto

Re: Congress Passes Bill to Let 9/11 Families Sue Saudi Arabia, Obama Expected to Vet

I agree that government "investigations" are meant to mislead the masses but how do you explain the 8-9 Benghazi investigations?

Political theater.

Here's one problem I can see happening with this. We open this type of thing up and lawsuits will be flying around all over the place. The U.S. will definitely be subjected a lot of them because we've killed a lot of civilians over the past 1 1/2 decades.

And not just from foreigners. You open up a can of worms if the State were to be held financially liable for the actions of individual citizens.

Um... Why is this bill a thing?

Election year + 15th anniversary of the attack. Political grandstanding.
