Do some research into Watergate. The high crimes had little to do with the original action.

That's why Benghazi is an issue. Same principle at play.

I think Hillary wanted to answer those questions in her planned response and senator Menendez gladly asked them. In committee hearings Democrats protect and defend Democrats and Republicans protect and defend Republicans. Most, not all of these hearings are about scoring political points for your side.

Let me make sure I understand. In the congressional hearings, the Democrat members are given questions to ask to burn up the time and distract from the crimes. Well, I am shocked. I can't believe that. Of course, I'm being sarcastic. I can't figure out why this is news.

It's "corruption" for the Democrats to debunk lies that Republicans told for purposes of smearing Clinton? Wouldn't "corruption" be, you know, telling lies for purposes of smearing Clinton?

Do you think that Republican members of committees investigating Republicans do not try to help out the Republican? Really? This is the entire point of having bipartisan commissions: each side tries to focus on the topics it deems important.
