Reid Seeks FBI Inquiry Into Possible Russian Hack Into US Election System

Democrat leader Harry Reid is right on time with fresh accusations of Russian hacking:

You can tell that the fear of Assange's imminent release of further emails is weighing heavily on Democrats' minds -- that's why they're now suddenly rushing to put out as many stories as possible about "Russian meddling", etc.
The Dems are trying to prime the public and prepare them for the imminent release of these emails, to plant skepticism in the public's minds about what they're about to see.

"The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming! Pay no attention to the Clinton corruption! Because the Russians Are Coming!"

Patriotism is truly the last refuge of Scoundrels.
 
That's what he's alleging - that Russians are everywhere, hacking everything - just in time for him to create a distraction from Assange's upcoming release of Hillary's emails. This is what the Democrat Dirty Tricks Dept do when they're confronted with an imminent scandal - they create a counter-distraction designed to downplay or obscure that scandal. This course of action was pretty much triggered as soon as Assange warned that his email release was imminent.

So I take it you have no problem with the Russians hacking the election system so long as it's for the benefit of Trump. Trumpers are such scum indeed; can't wait for them to crawl back to their holes. This is what happens when society's sludge becomes politically active.

The FBI is part of the rigging - that's why they won't indict Hillary in spite of her obvious violations of laws governing the handling of government records. This is the same FBI that won't investigate the Clinton Foundation's influence-peddling racket. The FBI is a caged bird - singing the tune of the Obama administration.

Yes, the FBI is in on it. So is the CIA. So is Canada. And not too long ago, penguins in Antarctica joined in. And, lately, Kenya, after successfully hiding Obama's birth certificate, has been talking with the ghost of Harry Houdini, and are deciding whether or not to become part of the greatest conspiracy since Alex Jones broke the news of alien anal probes.

Stay tuned. Death is about to rain down from the skies when planet Headbanger, which is being driven by the same gay artists who created the Toon Town of Roger Rabbit fame, intersects the Earth's orbit. But that's another conspiracy nut case story.

The FBI's Comey and DOJ boss AG Loretta Lynch are clearly being political here. Clinton mishandled state secrets, and conviction for this does not require intent. But Comey decided to make intent an issue - contrary to what is stated in the law - and furthermore decided that there was a lack of intent without any questions relating to intent even being asked during the FBI interview with Clinton. The FBI and DOJ have also avoided opening up an investigation related to allegations of influence-peddling at the State Dept under Clinton. These things are nakedly partisan - one law for Hillary, another law for everyone else.

Russia is actively trying to influence our elections in the most blatant means possible. Why this isn't a bigger deal is baffling to me.

Judging from the increase in hacks by foreign entities on government, private businesses and US citizens and now our democracy....I don't think Americans are anywhere near ready for the kind of damage the hackers can do.

What do you want him to do? Nuke Moscow? EMP the power stations knock out all electricity? Send in some drones? Call up the big red 1? Draw another red line in the sand?
 
Maybe the same friends who told Harry Mitt didn't pay us taxes are the same ones slipping him the Russian info

When I saw your thread title, I was already thinking about how this was "posturing" on the part of Reid. Your OP remarks are right in line with what I was planning to say, so I guess I don't need to.

I'll just present this little tidbit to emphasis your great analysis:





Let's not forget that the DNC got caught screwing their own Party members in the ass.
 
It's ironic that all of a sudden Democrats are worried about the integrity of our voting system. No election has ever been thrown because of voter fraud. We don't need no stinking ID. No election has never been thrown because of any hacking. Should we use the same logic when it comes to hacking? No election has ever been thrown because of hacking. Nothing to see here, move on.

Instead, he's spent the past seven-and-a-half years proving that he won't do jack ****. This is the result of weak ads leadership.
 
Maybe they can look into Romney's taxes while they are at it. Someone remind me why Reid is allowed to speak without public ridicule?
