Clinton Foundation Under Heat as Trump Urges Immediate Close

Because money flows to the Clinton Foundation or an affiliate at the same time Bill gives a speech when a business or a business affiliated with a Foreign Government needs a favor.
Bubba didn't make well over $100 million on his smile and down-home delivery.

Then how did they make it? I mean, besides the $153 in million in speaking fees between 2001 and last year?

Hmmmm...I'm no math wiz, but $9 mil from $140 mil, sure doesn't sound like 89%....

Rush Limbaugh says Clinton Foundation spends just 15 percent on charity, 85 percent on overhead | PunditFact

When most people in the charitable world think of foundations, they think of organizations that give away a lot of money in the form of grants to others who go out and do good works. The Clinton foundation works differently -- it keeps its money in house and hires staff to carry out its own humanitarian programs.

This set-up means the Clinton foundation’s finances get complicated in ways other foundations do not.

Partly because of that, one of the leading independent groups that track charities -- Charity Navigator -- has been flummoxed about how to analyze that foundation and has stopped rating it, at least for now.

Charity Navigator says it has "determined that this charity's atypical business model cannot be accurately captured in our current rating methodology. Our removal of The Clinton Foundation from our site is neither a condemnation nor an endorsement of this charity. We reserve the right to reinstate a rating for The Clinton Foundation as soon as we identify a rating methodology that appropriately captures its business model."

This article gives a very good summary of why these stupid claims of "they only give a small amount to charity" arguments are so stupid. If you care about the truth you'll stop spreading lies.

"A money laundering operation" that benefits the Clinton's how exactly?

If they don't receive any income from the foundation (they don't), and you can see their last 39 years of tax returns online with income statements, AND they've probably the most investigated couple on the planet....I'm really curious what nefarious things you think the Clinton's are doing with this "money laundering operation".

DC works on two currencies, money and influence. The favors that the Foundation piles up allows them to peddle both. Its not to benefit the Clintons, its to benefit donors that will, in turn, keep donating.

If you go digging into their salaries, office expenses, donation gathering, travel, and consulting fees, they eat around 2/3 of the money that comes in.

The salaries are paid to people DOING the charity work.

Wasn't it just a week or so ago that had emails leaked that a large foreogn donar had the foundation request a meeting with a government source about Lebanon nd its buisness while hillary was SoS.

What part if charitable work does that fall under?

There's a similar thread that became a deep discussion of Hillary's use of her office to satisfy Russia's (Putin's) drive for global control of Uranium deposits while satisfying her & Bill's quest for big bucks.
At this moment there's absolute refusal to acknowledge the evidence that Hillary and Bill were bought.
When partisanship can influence logic & ethics to that extent it doesn't bode well for society.

That's because there is no such evidence.

Can't the flip also be said. All the left that moaned and whinned about Cheney and Haliburton now are defending Hillary

If accepting your premise (and assigning nefarious intent to it)....when money "flows" to the Clinton Foundation, how does that money benefit the Clintons?

The Clinton Foundation is an A+ Charity from a couple charity monitoring sites....89% of the money donated goes to helping poor people get access to medicine and helping combat climate change and an 11% overhead is extremely low in charity work.

Straight up lies. Wow.

If you go digging into their salaries, office expenses, donation gathering, travel, and consulting fees, they eat around 2/3 of the money that comes in.

Nope. That's false. All of those are accounted for in over head, with the exception of travel that is needed for program implementation, meaning that if they send 20 doctors to a poor country, that travel isn't included in overhead, where as if the CEO travels to a fundraiser, that's included in overhead.

Go to charity watch website.

I don't recall the Clinton Foundation's ever getting us into a war. And besides, which one, Halliburton or the Clinton Foundation, actually works towards improving people's lives?

Nice ad hominem attack.

Nice attempt to deflect away from Clinton by bringing up someone who has nothing to do with this current issue. No really though. It was pretty ****.

Halliburton. Do you actually know what they do?

Halliburton. Do you actually know what they do?

They're a corrupt organization run by the Cheney crime family.*

* - No, not really. They're an energy company. But that is what a description of Halliburton would sound like if talked about it like someone with Hillary Derangement Syndrome talks about the Clinton Foundation.

You DO know that I was being sarcastic in my post, don't you? I mean, I said so at the bottom of my post. (which you deleted from your quote for some reason )

So you have taken on Trump-like behavior then? Making outrageous unfounded statements and then when called on it you say it was "sarcasm". You need to look up the definition, what you are doing is just plain lying. Just like Trump lied about Obama creating ISIS.

What does Cheney have to do with what Clinton is involved with?
