Donald Trump seems to be taking clues from Obama??? Apparently going on an apology tour this afternoon Trump actually for the first time since the start of his candidacy admitted some faults of his own doing. Talking about the status of the campaign and the need to do more. But many say it's too late and the damage has already been done or Trump can't keep this pace going. It's not in his personality.

Donald Trump, in a remarkable break with his characteristically unapologetic style, acknowledged Thursday that he has sometimes said "the wrong thing" and said he regretted some of his controversial statements.

No biggie. Joe Biden once wanted to be president too. LOL.

Sometimes? More like all the time.

He just doesn't know when to shut up.

But at least he's admitting to his mistakes, at least some of them.

But at least he's admitting to his mistakes, at least some of them.

Except he really didn't admit to much since he didn't apologize for anything specific, instead just a blanket apology for unspecified things he said at some point in his past. Besides, if you're figuratively ordered by your newly appointed campaign team to repeat some words on a teleprompter saying you're sorry for something something, it's hard to take it seriously.

Trump at least shows humility. Trust me, you will never hear an apology made from Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton apologizes for saying she'd put coal "out of business" - CBS News

Clinton apologizes for 'unfortunate impact' of 1994 crime bill | Fox News (she didn't even do it!)

That took me literally 30 seconds to find. But no, NEVER.

Trump "shows humility" by ONCE owning up to "SOMETIMES" saying the wrong thing. What laughable tripe.

When will she apologize for the crimes she committed?

What "crimes"?

A federal criminal law makes it a felony when any custodian of official government records “willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same.” The crime is punishable by up to three years in prison. And interestingly, Congress felt strongly enough about the crime that it included the unusual provision that the perpetrator shall “forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”

National Review.

Hillary did apologize for her ... ahem, LAX oversight of her emails. That said, why should she apologize for crimes for which she was never charged?

BTW, your sig is really, really stupid.

You mean like "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor."?

At this point Hilary has a salacious appetite for dishonesty and unethical behavior. She is a horrible role model for any young women in this country.

She can blame the media and the "right wing conspiracy" but who are we kidding here? She's not only a criminal but a murderer. RIP Seth Rich and all who have tried to fight the Clinton Machine.

Hey! Don't forget that she also killed JFK (she was the one at the grassy knoll), she was the one who got John Lennon to fall in love with Yoko Ono and so destroyed the Beatles, AND she introduced Jane Fonda to Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi!

Right, a totally self serving non-apology apology about nothing in particular and directed to no one specific who you might have harmed is a perfect demonstration of Trump-style "humility."

Yes, of course, we can't have any discussion about anything at all without "but OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!"

It's called showing hypocrisy in ones arguement.

Donald Trump doesn't apologize and this was no apology. If I hear, "Ms. Fiorina, I'm sorry I said people shouldn't vote for you because of how you look. I'm sorry I lied and said I was talking about your persona. I apologize."

That's an apology. "Mistakes are made" is not an apology. "Sometimes you say the wrong thing" is not an apology. "I'm sorry if something I said caused you pain" isn't an apology. No, it's not Donald's fault that those overly sensitive people felt pain at some innocent remark.

I suppose someone told Donald he needed to apologize but he really can't. I've known people like that. They were far too fragile to actually admit they'd been wrong and apologize. Donald Trump has explained. He doesn't have to apologize because he never makes mistakes. Oh, he's never wrong either.

"Mistakes were made" is what Richard Nixon said when he was trying to weasel his way out of Watergate. You're absolutely right -- that's not humility, or an apology. That's Trump paying 5 seconds of lip service to something one of this handlers tried to hammer past his hairweave 10 seconds before he went on stage. Which, for Donald Trump, is progress.

Hillary Clinton is disingenuous as hell, but man. That was ... really disingenuous.

Pretty sure she killed the Lindbergh baby too. Oh, and Nicole Brown Simpson. And JonBenet. Because of Blonde Jealousy and all.

Well, I don't expect him to actually apologize for anything specific that he's done.

His ego's too big for that.

Not too big. Too fragile. He knows what he is and is terrified everyone else will find out.

And it isn't a hairweave, Kobie. I'm pretty sure it's a merkin. A merkin is a toupee for ******s.
