(CNN)A shooter killed three people and injured two others in Maryland before going on the run, authorities said.
The shooting in Prince George's County does not appear to be random, police said.
Authorities responded to the scene at 9:35 p.m. Friday and found the victims shot, according to Prince George's County Police. The shooting was on a domestic street in District Heights, an incorporated city in the county.

The point of this thread is....?

It is not the least bit unusual for police to investigate crimes or to seek (fleeing?) suspects.
