Mitt Romney: Look at how much money Hillary Clinton is making!

I'd love to wake up tomorrow morning while my husband's away on business and find Brad Pitt in my bed. There's a better chance of that happening that Uncle Sam giving us back what we paid in.

I'd be happy if they'd just stop taking it. You can keep what I paid in.

Medicare starts to fail in the mid 2020's, under current projections. So, er, you're sort of hoping that A) she's already a senior and B) she dies soon.

 mathematically, she's not. abortion aside, the entitlements are not sustainable. That means that they will not be sustained.

I'm not a senior. And I hope I don't die soon!

I do somewhat agree with you on the second part. Mathematically they may have a shelf life. Politically they don't.

No, I just hope it's there for her if she needs it.

What if the economy grows and more people enter the job market, get better pay, etc. Wouldn't that help save the entitlements? I think as long as there is viable economy and more people working then the entitlements are sustainable.

So... the theory is that politicians are actually super-competent mega-geniuses capable of superheroic feats, and have just been hiding that all this time?

Not really. Even under the CBO's optimistic scenarios, every single individual who retires today is currently scheduled to outlive their benefits.

It turns out, if you want to have a system involving a massive transfer of wealth from younger generations to older generations in the form of payroll-tax funded old-age benefits... you have to remember to produce enough kids. Woops.

Welcome to reality. :) Winter is Coming.

Most politicians have speech writers. To use that as a reason not to vote for her is...is..is stupid beyond the pale.

Who said anything about voting for or against her? Stop trying to make strawman arguments because I made an undeniable point. She will get slaughtered when she doesnt have that prewritten speech in front of her, shes already been established as an unlikable bitch when shes given interviews...hence why her majesty (puke) REFUSES to do them anymore.

What an ugly sexist thing to say.

How so? How is calling Hillary FAKE a sexist thing? Explain your ridiculous assertion and do it now.

I would think seniors would not vote for Romney for fear of losing their SS and medicare.

Neither of those things are going anywhere, unfortunately. We would be better served by dissolving both.

How long are you going to pretend that they're not?

Im not pretending. If you are making minimum wage you are not a hard worker. Period. Hard workers do not make minimum wage.

Apparently you've never been a waiter before. You've also apparently never worked in a crop field either. Nor dug a ditch for a living. And several other things.

That's crap. I had to work my way to pay for higher learning. Heck, from the time I was 13 years old I worked baby sitting kids through the
Summer and on weekends. You don't think that isn't hard work for not even minimum wage?
When I turned 16, I got my first real job waiting tables. Still not minimum wage but made good tips. Ever balanced four plates of food in one arm so darn hot it left blisters on your arm while carrying a tray with 4-5 other plates at the same time? On your feet all day long running here and there. Don't you dare tell me those folks are not hard workers. Jobs like that paid for my education. And I am a better person for experiencing it.

Maybe you were handed everything on a silver platter or you got your education paid for by your parents or special grants. I didn't. I earned mine.

What's a non-net taxpayer?

Someone without an overall income tax burden. This includes people who pay no income tax or those who receive a refund higher than their withholding.

Then quote his words. Your interpretation will just not do.

Gladly.

Fact-checking Romney's "47 percent" comment - CBS News

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it -- that that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. ... These are people who pay no income tax. ... [M]y job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

The idea that all people who don't have a net income tax burden "are dependent upon government," "believe they are victims," "believe the government has a responsibility to care for them," etc. is phenomenally stupid.

A 4 post lift that allows you to park one car under another is surprisingly cheap.....I am considering one for one side of my 1600 sq. ft. shop so I can store the 4 quads up out of the way during the winter months. Am I too rich to identify with poor folk?

Romney was out of his element, though, as he was unprepared to deal with the professional rectums within the GOP, not to mention those from the DIM side.

Romney's elevator was to move cars to his 2nd story garage not a lift to service them. You probably didn't even know that sort of thing existed outside of commercial parking garages.

Why are you so reluctant to quote Mitt Romney directly yet swallow whatever some third party tells you?

First you wanted me to tell you in my own words and now your insulting me because I didn't quote Romney directly? Wtf is wrong with you?

It's Grant. This kind of bull**** is to be expected.

Which is probably why I seldom pay much attention to him.

I actually detassled corn during the summer while in high school....I made more than minimum wage because I was the foreman and therefore better than everyone else. But what else is new?

That company actually offered me a pretty good paying position after high school...in retrospect I probably should have taken it because I would likely be making 6 figures right now....oh well. :)

a post lift can also be used to park a car up in the air, and allow another to be parked under it....

nvm....

Oh wow, removing flowers from corn and dropping them on the ground. No, that's not hard work or comparable to what I listed. Oh wait...you were a foreman...which means all you did was stand around and tell others what to do and how to do it and made sure it was done that way. Even less work.

Just as it doesn't matter to YER voters.
Which ever clown emerges from the bus .

It doesn't matter to HER voters, because nothing does except to promise to be liberal.
