ISIS terrorists using chaotic Libya as new ‘route to the West’

Clearly the middle East, pay attention.

Where in the middle east? And HOW in the middle east? Where have we "stuck around for a couple decades"????

Yes it is.

The public by a wide margin says the United States does not have a responsibility to do something about the fighting between government forces and anti-government groups in Libya. And while opinion is divided over enforcing a no-fly zone over Libya, this view is undercut by the fact that Americans overwhelmingly oppose bombing Libyan military air defenses.

Public Wary of Military Intervention in Libya | Pew Research Center

Who gives a **** what the people too stupid to understand that we are the good guys and killing bad guys is a good thing think???

Sometimes you just have to do the right thing, no matter how loud the stupid hippies get.

During the two decades since U.S. and Coalition forces liberated Kuwait, a robust US presence -- military and civilian -- has become virtually a fixture in Kuwait. This posture has been encouraged by a welcoming host government that has seen its own long-term security linked to a significant USG presence, particularly on the military side.

It figures that you would think destroying a country is doing the right thing.

Yea I guess you have a point, we are having a lot of problems with KUWAIT right now. :lamo

Do you even think before you post?

It figures that you think liberating a country is destroying it. ISIS is destroying Iraq, not us. Perhaps pick up a newspaper from time to time.

You do have issues. You asked me what presence we've had in the Middle East, I told you. And it would appear that you haven't picked up a paper, seeing you're unaware of the condition of Libya since our interference there.

I wonder if you realize that you are making my point for me right now? :2wave:

Having said that, ISIS is said to be rattling their swords toward Europe ala The Moors, and in my mind, I wish they would cross and try some of that so that the western world can just put a quick end to this crap.

Europe would fold like a piece of paper. Our Euro cousins have become the most spineless bunch due to White Guilt and Political Correctness. Most of the European leaders keep the masses cowered with "Hate Crime" laws that can destroy a person's life just from one small utter of something negative said about Muslims.

Clearly the middle East, pay attention.

We wouldn't be there in the first place if the Arab nations would clean up their messes instead of making the rest of us do it.

What problems are we having in Kuwait?

Who said anything about that, hmm? I made the statement that after a two decade presence in the ME, there's been no stability achieved and you asked me where we have had a two decade presence. So I don't know what your deal is.

Sure they would thanks for playin.

Possibly, but Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad kept a lid on things, and now they're gone.

We had a two decade presence in just about the only ME country where we dont have issues.

Think about that for a minute, lib.

And we've been in and out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Libya and not a one of them have stability for it, con.

Obama's ME policies have fit the PNAC MOS perfectly.

Obama's Foreign Policy disasters are Bush's fault....

Liberalism is a mental disorder indeed

Yea, in and OUT.

Readers, do you think he gets it yet? :lamo

So...every place America tried to determine who should lead that country has turned into a complete mess and the vacuum is being filled by extremists. Iraq, Libya, Syria..all had America butt in to their affairs by force and all are complete messes.

Well duh...I could have told you that years ago.

Neocons are FAR more of a threat to America then ISIS could ever dream of being.

Totally agree, it seems that since 9/11 right wing extremists have killed more people in the US than Muslim extremists have.

I didn't say that. Obama's ME policy failures are his, I'm just pointing out that the long term regime change ambitions for the region transcend administrations.

So what are you arguing now? That a couple decades of US interference in the ME has had positive results, lol.

My argument is that when we LEAVE things get ****ty.

Do you ever comprehend anything?
