President Vladimir Putin tells West not to fear Russia

What I said was that with the Minsk agreement, Russia has taken more actions to seek and achieve peace than the US has.
The US didn't invade and illegally annex Crimea. Nor has the US sent thousands of soldiers and weapons into eastern Ukraine.

Russia has done these things. Naturally, there can be no attempt at a meaningful Ukraine ceasefire (Minsk II) without including the aggressor state (Russia).

However, the massive pro-Russia rebel attack on the government town of Marinka (June 3) may spell the end of the Minsk II Accord.

Well I never said they were a bunch of peace lovers. What I said was that with the Minsk agreement, Russia has taken more actions to seek and achieve peace than the US has.

Take up Putin's challenge Radcen--generate a world map showing US bases and military presence and military operations, and then generate one showing Russian bases, military presence and military operations. Compare and contrast, if you dare. ;)
Why are you under the illusion that lack of ability to project worldwide somehow equates to a lower hostility level?

I'm not sure which one of us is under an illusion. One government commits military aggression under fraud killing many thousands, and does drone strikes against innocents on the other side of the globe.

The other government reacts to threats from outside, does not conduct drone strikes and has not invaded countries under fraud.

Yet you see the former as some sort of justified and good effect.

Man you are drinking that Russian propaganda by the gallons arent you?

Maybe Putin should ask himself why his neighbours find NATO membership so appealing.

Man you are drinking that Russian propaganda by the gallons arent you?
Putin could invade Alaska and he would say Russia is defending the motherland from exterior threats.

Probably not nearly as freely as you are drinking the US propaganda. :peace

Did you buy into the Pat Tillman story too? WMD? 911? Abbottabad?

Russian internet trolls are trained to spread propaganda in three-person teams - Business Insider

Employees at Russia's Internet Research center work for 12 hours a day in 3-person "teams" spreading Kremlin propaganda online, acccording to a former employee interviewed by Radio Free Europe.

Workers at the St. Petersburg "troll factory" are tasked with clogging Russian municipal websites and forums with pro-Kremlin comments. To make their comments seem independent and legitimate, employees are given separate "roles" they must play while maintaining their online personae.

"One of us would be the 'villain,' the person who disagrees with the forum and criticizes the authorities, in order to bring a feeling of authenticity to what we're doing," St. Petersburg blogger and former troll factory worker Marat Burkhard told Radio Free Europe. "Then one of them should provide some kind of graphic or image that fits in the context, and the other has to post a link to some content that supports his argument. You see? Villain, picture, link."

Pretty weak response. I'm sure you can prove they have less than the US Government.

LOL. Pretty weak comeback. I'm sure you have proof there are any.

For more than 5 years there have been several articles regarding the government's, including the Pentagon's, use of posters to influence public opinion, to massage the public perception. It's old news. That the Russians do it too is no surprise to me.

Edward Bernays went to work for Woodrow Wilson a century ago, with his mission being "public relations" in favor of the US joining WWI.

That the Russians do it too is no surprise to me.

Typical americans, got no idea what the reasons are for any thing but running their mouths.
1. NATO countries in EU are small, they are no threat and they never will be to Russia.
2. NATO has no reason to exist since there is no more Warsaw Pact.
3. Try to understand why Russia feels threatend by NATO or do you even give a ****? if not then the whole forum is pointless.
4. Ukrain thing was started by U.S. so i think Russia should have cleaned it out years ago.

Russia should have annexed Ukraine by force years ago but Americans have " No idea what they're taking about....

Lol

Sense it was one of our more legal acquisitions, I doubt that.
The transfer of Crimea to Ukraine over 60 years ago is legal also.

And so was the transfer back. You guys love self determination...................until you don't. ;)

You can doubt it all you want but deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin publicly asserts that Russia deserves the return of Alaska to them.

And......................let them buy it back, you know the GOP will sell it to them as they've sold so much of the rest of America!!!

They can't afford it. We paid them fair market value at the time. We deserve fair market value today... presuming we even were willing to sell, which we're not.

And if he's advocating taking it by force, my original point still stands... they can't afford it.

Basically, the man is posturing. No more.

Well Rogozin did say that "Tanks don't need visas!"
