‘Tone-deaf’ Clinton campaign throws kids off playground

right ... and they're on a mission so if that means screw the kids (metaphorically) then so be it.
and ... her team are the ones who told her to spew that hate about vote suppression to a black crowd and she went out and did it.

Greetings, bubba. :2wave:

I was discussing Hillary's campaign with my brothers, who are solid Dems, and their comments were interesting. They do not agree that her team is doing the right thing by having her bring racism into the picture, and they wondered why Bill isn't taking a more active roll in her campaign - he wouldn't have made the missteps she is making, in their opinion. They were literally shaking their heads in confusion at what they're seeing.

Bottom line, they'll still vote for her. ;)

Failures fall up. Whether or not she had direct control of the day to day scheduling of her campaign she manages the people who make the mistakes.

I've never said she's not responsible for running her campaign. If it is run poorly it reflects her because she's the candidate. I'm just saying you'd have to be crazy if you think she was the person that actually made the plans and said "yeah, kick those kids out I want that park."

For all we know they called the park and said we'd love to have an event on this weekend is anything important scheduled and the park said "nothing important, we can reschedule it."

But I agree, it's a silly move on her campaigns part.

I think it is pretty obvious that Hillary wants all the credit for the campaign and is actively managing Bill's involvement. I think she still operates on the false assumption that her best and most valuable asset is not her husband.

They'll definitely vote Dem, IMO, and they do recall the Clinton years as a time when their businesses had a lot of work - when I have pointed out that they sure seemed to be awfully busy making money during the Bush years, too, I get a "yeah, but..." response. They haven't been too happy with the lack of work during the Obama years, though - complaining that "my phone just isn't ringing these days," but they are loyal Dems, I'll give them that! Perhaps as time goes by, there will be other Dem candidates they will look at, but who knows? "It seems it's a kind of a "better the devil you know" thing with them, but not necessarily her, but rather their recall of the Bill years. That's probably why they wonder why Bill isn't stepping in!

Oh my god! They had to move playing with blocks to October! But they can play with blocks in July too, because the same event is happening then! More FAUX outrage!

And yet if a republican did it you would call him a monster.

Maybe you could mention those parts of the Kos piece with which you disagree. Doesn't have to be "Hillary specific".

I didn't even bother reading it. I'm no fan of Markos Moulitsas.

No.
Post #13: "guarantee you **** like this happens all the time. I dont know the background or internal organizational aspects nor do I care. Its a park. Its a playground even which looks like ****ing large blocks. Moral of the story this is faux outrage. "

I would bet money that whatever those kids were going to do with those blocks would be more productive and worthwhile than whatever Hillary is going to be doing there.

So even though the kids had a previous reservation...hillary is more important. Just one more reason in a thousand she is the ice queen.

Hillary Clinton is a skilled coattail rider. But she's a terrible manager. In a #2 role she can steal credit and self-promote like nobody else. Give her the top spot and she'll bungle.

And Ted Cruz is a prick because students were threatened with a fine if they didnt show up to his little announcement? Am I right?

When you read some gavon saying stuff like Hillary's not Progressive enough do you wonder if they're trying to cagily establish her as some kind of moderate for readers who don't know better, or are they themselves really that far out in the stratosphere?
Granted, she may be a bigger crook than, say, Bernie Sanders who would redistribute what he stole (lord knows she's a bigger crook than most), but fercrissake she wouldn't govern like Reagan.

Leftists dont see themselves as part of the US political spectrum, they see themselves as part of a world political spectrum (international workers unite!), this is why you hear them say things like "im not that far to the left", etc-because compared to communists in western europe, they aren't.

Word on the street is that they are pushing Hillary to the left, and that Hillary is doing the same (she was doing the racism thing yesterday) so that it "suppresses" the other more left leaning candidates like Sanders, and Warren (who probably isn't running).

But its funny how they scheme and talk, conservatives don't discuss things like that.

Sure. If that is the truth. Don't really know what you are talking about.

She misses the optics because she is surrounded by people who think like TheDemSocialist.

She surrounded by people who arent going to vote for her? Man thats a bad campaign team.

Well c'mon get the outrage machine going. It happened, I believe it was even posted here early in the thread.

Indeed. :2razz:

She'll be the Presidential campaign version of Ronan Farrow, a TV personality so beloved that it is rumored that his viewer ship would drop 50% when a cameraman called in sick.

She's already speaking to half empty rooms. Her book tour was just as bad. Looks an awful lot like last november.

There will be lots of people listening to her after she moves into the White House.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

Im pretty sure the next President will be a woman. Just so Americans can say they got it out of the way. But Clinton? Hell no.

The students at Liberty University were told they would be fined if they didn't show up at Cruz's announcement saying he was running for president.

The school threatens their student with fines. Cruz had to know, but he went ahead with his announcement anyway. What an SOB huh? He should resign from the Senate and cancel his run for president. Any candidate who would let kids be fined doesn't deserve to be in any political office.
