‘Tone-deaf’ Clinton campaign throws kids off playground

If you say so.

Well cmon now.

Hillary Camp to Media: 'Her Speech Will Be Her Interview'......

As I said on Monday, there's no reason to glom onto phony alleged manifestations of Hillary's tone-deaf insularity. She and her team will mint those all on her own. Here's a genuine memo to the press from Queen Pro Quo's campaign, regarding her upcoming remarks on voting rights:

According to the Washington Post's running clock -- which exists because of her extraordinary inaccessibility to the news media, despite being an active candidate for the presidency -- Hillary Clinton hasn't entertained a single question from a reporter since the early afternoon of May 22. Twelve days and counting. Based on the missive above, "NO opportunities" for questions at today's Texas event, where journalists are to remain behind the barricades and use only their designated rest room.

Two public opinion surveys released this week show Hillary Clinton's favorability underwater among Americans, a dramatic downturn from the high marks she garnered while at the State Department.....snip~

Hillary knows answering questions will hurt her campaign. But she will kick children off a playground to help it.

It really brings up some questions about her.

rest rooms located down the hall to the left of the media area.

Why are the restroom only to the left? Doesn't the right need restrooms too? This is proof Hillary favors the left and she is a leftist communist.

If we're going to get petty, lets go all the way.

Well we already knew that, when her people were in Benghazi and she didn't even check back to see if they made out alive. That's all any needed to know.

No one wants any kind of person like that thinking they have power.

So why do the dems want to give her the Presidency?

Because otherwise:

1) People will starve
2) Health care will be non-existent, except for the wealthy
3) The wealthy will get wealthier at the expense of the poor (because that's where the real money is)
4) Endless war
5) Unaffordable higher education
6) Illegal immigrants won't get a fair shake
7) The air, water and ground will be poisoned and we'll all cook
8) Corporatism will trump everything
9) Social programs will be gutted
10) Women will be trampled
11) Blacks will be trampled
12) Hispanics will be trampled
13) Gays will be trampled
14) A theocracy will be established
15) The military-industrial complex will absorb most of the budget
16) Bush!
17) Children will suffer
18) Cheney!
19) Iraq!
20) Everything else will be vewwy, vewwy bad.

Naturally, this is just a partial list.

You forgot one.
Hillary has a new bold campaign plank.
Voting.
Republicans hate voting.
Hillary said so and she never lies.
She's in favor of voting.
Maybe that's what she was making notes about in her coffee clatches.
Here's a thought.
Since healthcare is a right for everyone now, and voting has been a right for everyone, and healthcare is mandatory, why not make voting mandatory?
And if a person can't find the time, they can assign a designated voter to vote for them.
And if they can't do that, the Government can create a new position to do block voting for all those non-voting bastards ... somebody like Debbie Wasserman Schultz would be a good choice but that can be left up to Hillary.

Be bold, Hillary...be bold.

That was quite an entertaining Kos piece and comments after.

Yes a bit foul mouthed but entertaining, I liked this one...
Our only hope is that we can keep Democrats together long enough for the Republicans to implode sometime next year. They cannot hold together the forces unleashed by Goldwater, Nixon and Reagan, the three ideological dystopian giants who are still the bedrock of Republican thought and rhetoric.

The Democrats are hardly in better shape; the two main wings of the party distrust and hate each other so deeply, and no leader seems willing or able to try to speak sincerely to both factions. A schism here is not out of the question as well. We have the Corporate Toadies who trot out classical Democrat speak when they want to run, then rule to the hard right to keep the Plutocrats happy, who think that being all socially liberal is an excuse to rape and ravage the poor and disadvantaged. They use social and civil rights as a cloak to hide among the people, and to hide their dealings with the people who outsource, bust unions, offshore, tax shelter and overrun earth. Then we have the economic populists who somehow cannot sustain a street action because they are so tolerant they let Anarchists and Libertarians represent them and outrage the people. Not much better. We are so tolerant we let people call us racist simply because we are white, (this happened to me this weekend at a Union Convention) forgive and forget, despite the fact that we have been working hard for the rights of all people of color and gender for 60 years. Democrats like this love to maim each other when they are not getting enough attention.

As we all know, ALL liberals take their orders from Daily Kos

Partisan blog stumps for mediocre candidate. Stop the presses. Only libs would do THAT!

They actually believe that stuff. Amazing. This stuff should be highlighted by the MSM rather than just the inspiration behind parts of it.

Yeah as you can see they haven't figured out when talking about an issue and who does what. Hence the usual of. Well they did it to.....neener.

When you read some gavon saying stuff like Hillary's not Progressive enough do you wonder if they're trying to cagily establish her as some kind of moderate for readers who don't know better, or are they themselves really that far out in the stratosphere?
Granted, she may be a bigger crook than, say, Bernie Sanders who would redistribute what he stole (lord knows she's a bigger crook than most), but fercrissake she wouldn't govern like Reagan.

Maybe you could mention those parts of the Kos piece with which you disagree. Doesn't have to be "Hillary specific".

I wonder why your initial thought isn't why can't Hillary change her schedule? I guess the machine has too much momentum eh?

Still, it goes to show how she's completely missing the "optics" of this. Does she really need this headline out there right now? Have you seen her polling numbers recently?

She misses the optics because she is surrounded by people who think like TheDemSocialist.

Somehow I don't think the characterization of Goldwater, Nixon and Reagan as the three dystopian ideological giants of the party is accurate. That simply serves to nail down the feet of a dynamic that could be characterized far, far differently.

Same here. I don't understand why they need to close down a park for a weekend so a politician can beg for votes. But I don't know how anyone can act like this stuff is unique for Hillary or any other politician. And I think it's funny if anyone thinks that Hillary had anything to do with scheduling an event like this.

Failures fall up. Whether or not she had direct control of the day to day scheduling of her campaign she manages the people who make the mistakes.

She sure misses a lot of things JM. :2wave: But that's alright.....some always come back around. Now all are seeing her true colors.

As Hillary’s Numbers Dip, Benghazi Rises As an Issue.....

There was a ton of bad news for Hillary Clinton in two new polls that put the former Secretary of State’s favorability deeper into negative territory amid harsh voter assessments of her personality – particularly her trustworthiness. When asked by CNN/ORC if Clinton was honest and trustworthy, only 42 percent of respondents said yes while 57 percent said no. That was down from 50/49 percent in March and 56/43 percent in March 2014.

Clinton’s favorability ratings are also the lowest in a Washington Post-ABC News poll since April 2008 when she first sought the Democratic presidential nomination. Today, just 41 percent of Americans say she is honest and trustworthy, in contrast to 52 percent who said she is not. That represents a startling 22 percentage point swing in the past year, according to The Washington Post.

Half of the people surveyed for the Washington Post-ABC news poll said they disapprove of the way Clinton is handling questions about Benghazi and 55 percent said they consider the issue to be fair game in next year’s election......snip~

right ... and they're on a mission so if that means screw the kids (metaphorically) then so be it.
and ... her team are the ones who told her to spew that hate about vote suppression to a black crowd and she went out and did it.

Yeah, if the goal is to have a presser on a playground then kicking out the kids seems... counter productive.
