Wrong again.

Since there's not a "Puerile, Fact-Free Personal Attack" Thread, this belongs in the Mid East, I/P threads from which you just slithered :

My last sources used THERE were: Newsweek, Defense Tech, NBC News & US News which sent you scurrying over here with your Off Topic character slurs

“Report: Israel Passes U.S. Military

“Netanyahu Has Rejected a Two-State Solution”

My last post HERE had to do with the difficulties faced by US pilots in Iraq & collateral damage

Now, either get On-Topic or respond to:

In case you haven't noticed it genius you're the one who's off-topic here talking about Yinon Plans and Hasbara and Zionists and all the other conspiracy theories that you love to share with us in a thread that has nothing to do with it. So not only do you engage in off-topic discussion of anti-Israeli/anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in a thread about US military strikes against ISIS in Iraq, you have the nerve to call on people to "return to the topic". Bizarre.

Anyway, you've failed to provide a single mainstream source that discusses these conspiracy theories - such as your famous "Yinion plan yadda yadda" bollocks. I think it's safe to say by now that you do not base your arguments on reality but on fiction. And again I will note that they have nothing to do with this thread.

Well over 1 million Iraqi civilians have been "liberated" from life in this world & countless have been burned, mutilated & traumatized since the beginning of this ongoing carnage.

Well over one million? Where did that figure come from? And how is the U.S. responsible for that? We gave these people the opportunity to be free (which the Kurds have taken full advantage of), but the Arabs decided they'd rather hate and kill each other along religious sectarian lines. Why is that our fault? Because we didn't leave Saddam in charge to commit more genocide, threaten his neighbors, or reconstitute his WMD programs? I mean, I'm sorry you lost your pen-pal, but don't try hanging a shame collar around my neck as an American.

If anything, the US should be more careful not to become just as deadly to them as ISIS. If the US bombs them, then we know they'll be dead; if we forgo an opportunity to kill ISIS members, they have a chance of surviving.

Let me make this abundantly clear: there is NO chance the coalition will become as deadly to civilians as ISIS. And if we refrain from killing ISIS members, you can be certain there will be a lot more dead civilians.

I hope you'll reconsider your sentiments Re: "we need to be bombing ISIS more even if it means more civilian deaths."

Just imagine you had carried on a pen-pal relationship with a resident of Hiroshima before WWII and this conversation were taking place immediately after the war. We know if we didn't bomb that city and the other cities we bombed in which we made civilians a strategic target they would have been alive, but people throughout a good part of East Asia and many Americans and Japanese would have continued to die as the war continued. Which would have been the greater evil? We know what ISIS is, what it represents, and what it's doing to the citizens of not just Iraq but Syria and the national heritage of the world and that it is a threat to our country as well. It needs to be stopped, and we can't do that in the manner in which we're prosecuting this war.

First of all, do not question my commitment to serving my country & its best long term interests. I signed up to do what I thought was serving this country when today's Chicken Hawks were flying to Canada & for deferments & ended up in that fetid hell hole in S.E. Asia stuffing rubber sacks with US body parts when not on S&D Ops.

Today, I see the REAL cost of the Iraq War at our understaffed & underfunded V.A. Hospital in the form of mutilated, burned & traumatized young American amputees.

Were you among the "We" who "gave these people the opportunity to be free"?

It seems like you're making a lot of rose-colored assumptions in that there have been fewer deaths & less misery by removing Saddam and leaving a vacuum for deadlier elements to fill. Much of what was said about Saddam turned out to be pro War propaganda. You can be sure that the US governments decision to remove Saddam was not based on any fondness for the Iraqi people or "Freedom & Democracy"

Among the primary motivations are best articulated by these Jewish authors:

“JEWISH WRITERS CLAIM POWERFUL ZIONISTS DROVE USA INTO MID-EAST WAR FOR SAKE OF ISRAEL”
http://www.usa-exile.org/news/0304/13/zionistwar.html
http://www.theweeklyinformant.com/arishavit.htm

And:

“Quietly lobbying Congress to approve the use of force in Iraq was one of AIPAC’s successes over the past year”
AIPAC Executive Director Howard Kohr; N.Y. Sun; Jan. ’03

I've got friends & family on active duty in the Region & some who work in the Pentagon. None of them think that Iraq was a threat to the US, the Iraq War was a good idea or in America's best interests

I agree that a greater effort needs to go into stopping ISIS. So far, only Iran, Syria & Hezbollah have been doing the "heavy lifting". Who in the region is ISIS NOT attacking, whoever is attacking Syria is aiding ISIS. ISIS is wealthier than some small countries.

Cutting the aid to ISIS is a next step but you'd be surprised who is aiding ISIS so remember the maxim "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". Who else is hostile to Syria, Hezbollah & Iran?

You won't believe me so Google "Countries aiding ISIS" & see for yourself.
Please let me know what you find out.

Thanks

To the bolded. Good luck with that. Anything less than blind patronization of USFP is treason. Never admit to or acknowledge US interference in other nations internal affairs, nor to atrocities committed by our CIA, nor to war crimes committed by the military. The U.S. Is without blemish or sin.
