Somehow....I think God will care a lot less about who someone loves than he will about what productive people did with their lives and how they treated their fellow mankind. That was really what the teachings of Jesus Christ are about. He had nothing to say about gay marriage or even anything close to it. Sorry Bub.
You're as wrong as can be.
Like I posted previously, the Bible confirms that Jesus is God. As God, Jesus is the one who gave Moses the Levitical law against gay sexual relations to begin with; and he’s the one who inspires all Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16), including prohibitions against gay sexual relations in Romans 1:26-27 and I Corinthians 6:9-10, etc.
It’s also worth noting that Jesus didn’t mention wife beating or other sins such as pedophilia either, and there are not many folks who would argue he approved of those behaviors. So Jesus was under no obligation to reiterate the moral laws against homosexual sin that already existed, unless there were clarifications to be made.
So you struck out on that one.
As for Jesus / God not caring about sexual immorality, what Bible are you reading? God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah!
Revelation 21:8 confirms God is not at all pleased with sexual immorality and that those who practice it will wind up in the Lake of Fire: "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers,
the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
Revelation chapter 2 confirms Jesus' promise to put Jezebel on a bed of suffering for her fornications, and for teaching the same thing to others. And there's a lot more where that came from.
So sorry, sport, but your spiel above is more a sophomoric Disneyland fantasy than a valid theological argument.
