Harvard accused of bias against Asian-Americans

And that's why there's a disproportionately high percentage of black people in college.

Thanks for pointing out the sheer ineffectiveness of AA. It's just 40 acres and a mule and has gone on far too long.

Sheer ineffectiveness. So not really having any impact, right?

The fact that so many people are ignoring my comments just let's me know that this thread belongs on Stormfront more than it belongs here.

Went right over your head, didn't it?

No, it went over your head in fact. Your equating total number of students of certain groups to how they are treated. Less blacks try to enroll which would obviously lead to less of them being in school. Why you think that would somehow mean they aren't being treated favorably is beyond me.

Two generations after it was begun and it's still necessary? It's having an impact, perhaps not a positive one. Who'd have thought giving a man a fish would only feed him for a day.

That's telling you something else entirely, you're just not catching the clue. :lamo

Bigger obstacles.

:lamo Yes, they went to the same schools and got the same grades, but wait, their black, so they had to work harder. Don't liberals like yourself usually consider that kind of thinking racist? How is it not racist when you believe in it?

Um, I'm going to go ahead and argue that a college education might fall under teaching a man to fish.

Not necessarily the same schools. Often worse schools. Tougher economic conditions. Tougher conditions at home. Teachers tougher on them. Police tougher on them. Harsher punishments for the same misbehaviors, both in school and out of it.

There are white kids living in the same neighborhoods, going to the same schools, same home conditions, same treatment by the police. Can we just ****can the excuses?

There is nothing like lumping every black person together and then separating them again when you realize your comment was racist.

I don't think you know what a "hate crime" is.

I do but you liberals don't. To you anything is a hate crime if it hurts a non-white or helps a white.

That's only true if the education is in STEM. An education in liberal arts of the humanities doesn't teach a man anything useful.

Maybe you missed the part about averages.

I didn't lump every black person together. Which part about averages confused you?

Bigger obstacles.

Well I myself disagree with the notion that the government should look up what your race is and then decide how to treat you based on how the average member of your race is doing, but whatever works for you.

Just another illustration of the fact that so-called affirmative action is basically just another form of racism.

A liberal arts education teaches people to learn and to communicate, two very important skills.
