BALTIMORE —A motion has been filed on behalf of the officers charged in Freddie Gray's death.

In it, it's asked that Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby recuse herself.

It gives five reasons, including the seizing of personal gain by Mosby and her husband, personal relationships with individuals who will be witnesses at trial, the role of her office as the investigators, the pending civil claim against Mosby and her office, and the financial interest of the attorney for the Gray family, who they claim is a close friend of Mosby.

I doubt she has the integrity.
 
Just heard about this as well, unsure what will happen with this motion. At this point I guess the motion will not be granted.

Thoughts? I mean, why would it?

Just an appearance impropriety should be enough for her to recuse herself.

It is not that, perhaps I could have stated this better. My concern is using theses reasons vs. the political implications here.

It is kind of odd that the reporter said it is a motion to recuse herself when they are asking the Court to recuse her.
