WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton has agreed to testify on Capitol Hill later this month about the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, and about her email practices. Her lawyer David Kendall wrote to lawmakers Monday telling them she would agree to the request from a special panel investigating the September 2012 attacks that killed four Americans.

Hillary Clinton agrees to testify on Benghazi, emails this month | Chicago

Im betting Hillary is worried about her lack of transparency. Going to be interesting seeing her questioned by Trey Gowdy.

I bet Benghazi investigation #9 comes to the same conclusion as Benghazi investigation #8.

Republicans running the hunt will give speeches, Clinton will give an opening speech, she face some tough questions, she will dodge other questions, cameras will be everywhere, and in the end we will learn *nothing* new.

Right here right now I am placing the over/under at 200 times over the course of this political and media fiasco of an event we will hear the phrase "the American People want..." by all those involved. I would suggest we make that a drinking game, but we would all be passed out on the floor and drooling before the first question is even asked.

Guessing her response to the majority of the questions posed is something along the lines of "I don't recall," "I don't remember," or "that depends on what your definition of 'is' is".

If you're expecting anything other than the typical Clinton spin, runaround, and contempt for the rule of law, you're expecting too much.

Oh you mean like finding out how she held records, and had not sent them to the State until after this last committee forced her to give them up by Subpoena. Then discover she was conducting state business thru her own private server. Then discover her aides were using the same private server. That she knew all along there was no spontaneous protest.

I doubt Committee number 8 knew anything about what the Gowdy Committee has been discovering.

I tend to agree with that. She's a world class liar, the best in the biz and has proven she can walk away with clean hands no matter how much proof is brought against her..

Heya OS. :2wave: I think Gowdy has another plan in mind. May 18th.

Clinton should expect some questions on the personal email server she employed while serving with the State Department. Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, showed he is not about to give Clinton a pass on her personal email use, including a list of 136 sample questions on the topic in his missive to Kendall. “Suffice it to say our members have more questions,” he wrote.

Cox Radio reporter Jamie Dupree has a brief list of some sample questions. A copy of Gowdy’s letter, including all 136 sample questions, can be found in PDF format here......snip~

Yeah you thought that was funny huh? Got a little bit excited about that did you. But really you do need to read those links you throw up. Here let me help you with the reality that the NY Times stated as a fact.

The existence of Mrs. Clinton’s personal email account was discovered by a House committee investigating the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi as it sought correspondence between Mrs. Clinton and her aides about the attack......snip~

Now isn't that just Hilarious.

Even the NY Times knows who to thank for leading them to their investigation.

Oh, and about that Benghazi committee you like to throw up.

The release of a majority report from the House Intelligence Committee investigation into Benghazi, started long before Speaker John Boehner finally called a Select Committee for a comprehensive investigation, provided the media with grist for their narrative that the entire scandal was nothing more than GOP paranoia. It became almost immediately clear that the media hadn’t actually bothered to read the report, as Mollie Hemingway deduced at The Federalist, as the report actually substantiated a number of criticisms of the Obama administration, the CIA and State Department in particular. Noah wrote shortly afterward that any sense of vindication claimed from the substance of the report founders on the clear conclusion that State under Hillary Clinton utterly failed to provide adequate security for a dangerous location, and that the US government under Barack Obama was shockingly unprepared for hostile action on the anniversary of 9/11. “Some victory,” Noah concluded.

All of the above analysis is based on a straightforward acceptance of the HIC report, though. Stephen Hayes takes a much closer and critical look at the document for The Weekly Standard, and finds huge holes in the work — and blames it on the outgoing chair of the committee, Mike Rogers: The revelations even roused the establishment media from their Benghazi torpor and generated extraordinarily hostile questioning of White House press secretary Jay Carney by reporters who had trusted his claims of administration noninvolvement. None of this convinced Rogers to make Benghazi a priority—a fact that frustrated many of the committee’s members. Boehner received a steady stream of visits and phone calls from House members who complained that Rogers wasn’t doing his job. In all, seven members of the intelligence committee took their concerns directly to the speaker or his top aides......snip~

Not if its not substantive. Lets face it Hillary and the Obama administration haven't exactly been cooperative.

That can apply to any Administration.

Aside from the fact that she's obviously already eaten too much, I doubt Gowdy's lunch will be eaten by Hillary. I wouldn't be surprised if he asks her to demonstrate some of her yoga routines. Especially the downward facing dog thing. She had that one down pat, I'm sure.

Heya HB. :2wave: More than likely Gowdy will get under her skin in less than 3 minutes. Did you see some of those questions. That's just over her emails and server. All leads to intentions, huh?

Hillary is no babe in the woods - but neither is Gowdy. Bill just got done saying that we can trust Hillary because she told him unequivocally that she didn't do anything improper. So we are to expect that a verified liar accepts the statement of another verified liar as gospel. I think Gowdy knows the Clinton schtick well enough.

I bet Benghazi investigation #9 comes to the same conclusion as Benghazi investigation #8.

Once again we see the lame left lying in wait for a Hillary thread to surface and pounce with irrelevant bull**** as the first reply. I have to admit that you are persistent. Now if we could get lefty loonies to actually read the ****ing OP, we may see some actual discussion.

Oh, what the **** am I saying? This is Amerikan Liberalism! There won't be any discussion, just trolling, sneering and the usual swill.

Lets find out.

Do you actually think she will co-operate?

The reason this bitch is under so much heat is that she's a snow maker, as in snow the committee, wait a year to be found out as less than forthcoming, then return with a big, impatient sigh, saying "OK, see, I have nothing up my sleeve."

The only problem? We will never see those emails she deliberately destroyed. We will never know what actually happened, it's all snow.

I bet Benghazi investigation #9 comes to the same conclusion as Benghazi investigation #8.

I bet we have a full moon tonight. No, not Hillary's. Even the sky has it's limits, just like propriety and honesty have theirs.

Persistent? Do you know whats persistent is #9 probably going on #10 investigations and during those first #8 of those found no wrongdoing. You'll get em sometime!

I bet Benghazi investigation #9 comes to the same conclusion as Benghazi investigation #8.

Please enlighten us on investigations 2 through 8, when they were held and what Hillary had to say.

Or is this more socialist swill, "poor me" exaggerated clap trap.

The Amerikan liberal sure does whine a lot. It's been six long years of "they won't let me" from "the first black president" I guess we're in for more of the same from "they're picking on me because I'm a woman" first woman president.

I wonder if America is ready to simply elect a president instead of a label to try to fool the world you're actually in the 21st century.
