Obama: 'No excuse' for violence in Baltimore

Your inability to get over your hatred for Obama has made this conversation worthless and tiring. Lucky you only have 2 years left.

However you want to paint it. I always love how people throw around the "hatred" meme. I don't hate the President. You should try some other meme, the "hate" BS is most certainly an accusation that is tiring and worthless.

I don't have access to Facebook, but if anyone does Ray Lewis, a former player with the Baltimore Ravens and a resident of the city posts a very passionate and powerful condemnation of the rioters in his city and calls for them to get off the streets. This is what I was calling for from the President - this is what I call leadership.

Did he refer to the rioters as "black savages?"

Bump

Perhaps your trolling will have better luck with someone else - buh-bye.

Here's what I was able to find for Ray Lewis. They're his tweets:

No way, No way this can happen in our city…

— Ray Lewis (@raylewis) April 28, 2015

#Violence is not the answer. We must have #peace in our #city, we are a city that's built on #Believing in each other. #BaltimoreRiots

— Ray Lewis (@raylewis) April 28, 2015

We must come together,we can stop the violence as a #community. These kids have to have real leaders,we need everybody to join this #movement

— Ray Lewis (@raylewis) April 28, 2015

Mention of "black savages" or race: none. So why do you want Obama to refer to "black savages" in a televised address to the nation in order to demonstrate his leadership, while you admire Ray Lewis for showing real leadership yet he isn't even required to mention race at all? Double standard much? Do you even remember what your point was supposed to be?

I'm just wondering how you, as a conservative, we're even able to tell the races apart. I would assume that you would just see "looters" and "rioters," and that any further attempts to distinguish them would just lead to blurry images and confusion.

are you questioning another persons intellect here?

Ignorant nonsense. Go look at what I've posted about this issue in previous threads and about the officer in the shooting of the man in South Carolina. When police should be criticized, I have. Criticize me all you want but don't flat out lie - I once thought you were better than that.

You mean, dont flat out lie like this?:

Unlike liberals, we see and call out lawlessness in every race. Liberals only see lawlessness if it wears a badge or it prays in a church.

Where's a 'pot meet kettle' emoticon when ya need one?

I'm not surprised you wouldn't be able to see the difference between a poster specifically lying about another poster's comments or positions and a poster expressing an opinion about a collective ideology and their tendencies. But hey, I'm used to you bastardizing my posts to suit your own agenda, so have at it. Just don't expect me to respond beyond this one time.

When it's Obama saying "you can keep your plan" it's hate. When it's Obama playing mind games over "amnesty" its racism.

when it's "that slut Sara Palin" it's valid political commentary.

Hate is what they do, and accuse others. These are the people who never quite got around to condemning their colleagues for death threats over a hypothetical pizza. That showed their true colors, hate and more hate in the name of "progress."

Respond or not, your extremely inaccurate opinion is a reflection on you and your credibility.

These efforts have been pushed by those who control them in a effort to get their followers to avoid common ground, and eliminate opposition. It's dredged from the same fetid swamp as "Deniers".

It's not enough to suggest another persons ideas are wrong, or their critique is misplaced. Calling someone a racist is meant to remove them from the population. It's an intellectually vacant effort that speaks volumes about the content of character of those who use it.

The president called the riots criminals, arsonists, etc. and explicitly condemned their actions. How can you listen/read the President's speech and not understand that?

Your posts CJ have been spot on and correct..

If not hatred, then what possesses you to purposefully misinterpret his message?

CJ is 100% correct..his posts are spot on to those of us who follow these issues

What causes you to conclude I have? You have your opinion, and I have mine.

I think I've given my reasons rather clearly and completely.

Perhaps you can oblige with a similar effort, as opposed to the tiring and worthless path you seem to want to continue on.

Absolutely right.

It is part of a long list of accusations that are impossible to prove otherwise, "woman hater", "homophobe',, "denier", all nice little catch labels. But then the left has aways lived on labels, and demonizing. The satanic horns on George Bush were first rolled out here against a Liberal premier.

To this day, i have at least one opportunity to put a socialist in his place in here as they hurl the label "right wing fanatic" at me for criticizing either Obama or Hillary.....

Of course a radical rightie will be out there supporting universal health care, equal rights for all, women, gays, lesbians and the works, has worked for and attended gay weddings etc.

they can't grok the idea that a liberal might see through the bull**** blind obedience to a brand, whether it is Obama or Hillary.

I have. There's a whole part of the Presidents speech, which you ignore, wherein he explicitly condemns the rioters. You can't get any more clear then that.

Can you in your heart say that that is what is expected of the "first black president"?

The same as what Bush would do?

I thought there was going to be hope and change? There's no hope for change flowing out of the office of the First Black President in history, ****ing basketball players are showing more leadership.

And the extreme gross misrepresentation of the President's words will continue to reach new lows each day for the next 21 months.
While they continue at the same time with their swift-boating of Mrs. Clinton.
It's all the party of Nixon, NO, and Negative knows .

Well stated.

Remember the JournoList scandal, and the revelations in emails about using "racism" as a political tool?

It hasn't let up since. Amazing how it seems people need to return to 4th grade when discussing ideas among others.

Of course he's not spot on. I used to be in law enforcement...I carry a firearm....I am a practicing Christian...and I often support the police.

And I'm a liberal.

So much for your astute defense of his credibility. "100% correct" LOLOL Unless you'd like to suggest that I am an exception?

Trying to play blacks off on each other is simply an extension of the Nixon card of division, this time by race.
And why would you call them "****ing" basketball players?

Your motives are clear as a far-right conservative trying to divide my Nation and bring back another disastrous decade like the last one .

The president called the riots criminals, arsonists, etc. and explicitly condemned their actions. How can you listen/read the President's speech and not understand that?

Empty rhetoric.

You should remember that cities like Baltimore, St Louis, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago etc have been run by Democrat monopolies for decades.

Obama subscribes to the same ideology thats led to crushing inner city poverty, crime, dependance and corruption and that ideology didn't change when he took office.

St Louis, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, New York before Guiliani took over. ( Obama reminds me of David Denkins )

For example, what did the Obama administration and Eric Holder do in repsonse to Ferguson ? What was their solution ?

To write down a bunch of rules for how not to be a racist police officer ? Yea, worthless.

Anyone who thinks that Police brutality is the single greatest challenge to the people that live in these Cities is IMO a complete moron.

Anyone who watches that video of the High School kids throwing large concrete blocks at the LEOs and comes away thinking that if only we could solve the isssue of Police brutality things would change is fooling themselves.

Obama's and Holders solution to Ferguson was to back a narrative based on a lie. That the Police somehow caused the riots.

Like a good Democrat he ignores the continued struggles of the people that had to go back to living in a community that now is lined with burned out structures.

Nothing ever changes and Democrats never address the real and substantial issues that allowed their Cities to turn into war zones in the First place. They CAN'T address those issues because they're largely repsonsible for them.

There are still burned out structures in Detroit from the riots that happened decades ago.
