Baltimore Police: Gangs Enter Partnership to ‘Take-Out’ Officers [W:99]

Right, and I never said that police corruption, abuse and excess is the "#1 problem facing inner city communities". If you can quote me, do so. I just want to see such corruption, abuse and police excess cleaned up, and then that reason for rioting and violent protest disappear. Those that are charged with law enforcement must themselves be law compliant.

You're making quite a jump here to condemn the Police.

You know something we don't know ? You have inside information on the investigation ?

Who still thinks that, do tell, and substantiate it?

Oh, there was about 1000 fine young black men on the streets of Baltimore that think that. We could ask them, but they were busy looting burning and wilding.

You DO realize reports are coming out that claim Freddie Gray had Spinal surgery a week before his arrest.

I made a general statement to another poster on the nature of community riots and violent protests in response to general police abuse, not specific to Freddy.

So, unsubstantiated. But of course I was referring to DP posters, which I doubt will be substantiated either.

Totally false.
:naughty
No, there are reports.

EXCLUSIVE: The Fourth Estate has been told that Freddie Gray’s life-ending injuries to his spine may have possibly been the result of spinal and neck surgery that he allegedly received a week before he was arrested, not from rough excessively rough treatment or abuse from police.

The Fourth Estate has contacted sources who allege that Freddie Gray received spinal and neck surgery a week before we was arrested, and was allegedly receiving a large structured settlement from Allstate Insurance. The surgery is allegedly related to a car accident in which Gray was involved.

[...]

If this is true, then it is possible that Gray’s spinal injury resulting from his encounter with the Baltimore Police was not the result of rough-handling or abuse, but rather a freak accident that occurred when Gray should have been at home resting, not selling drugs.

How many times must various posters at DP link you apologists documentation of police abuse across America, hmm? And your statement, "the police" is too broad. We all know that its a minority of police that engage in corruption, abuse and excessive force, and it's that minority of offenders that reasonable people would like to see expunged from the various departments. Along with some meaningful reforms to police policies that will ensure that departments clean themselves regularly along the way. A bit of prevention you might say.

Thousands and thousands of cops on the street and you condemn a whole profession by the youtube vids of incidents caught at just the right time.
Great investigative skills you got there.

One report said he was screaming in pain as he was bundled in for his unrestrained ride to death.

Did you too fail to read what you quoted? Obviously you did, because it claimed that saying "the police" is too broad sense we all know that corruption abuse and excessive force is the exception not the rule. But it does exist nevertheless, which the reasonable amongst us wish to see addressed and cleaned up. So...........stop misrepresenting my true position.

His family and lawyer said last night they are false. Take it up with them.
Wut? That doesn't make the reports false and that is not what you said.
You made an unequivocal statement of, "Totally false", when you have no idea if it is true or not.

Oh, and have you read the dirtbag's rap sheet?
Don't need to. It is irrelevant to the fact that he was resisting.

His family and lawyer said last night they are false. Take it up with them.
Oh, and have you read the dirtbag's rap sheet?

A rap sheet of charges, or a rap sheet of convictions, hmm?

His family says no.
Maybe you should follow the link I provided.
The information regarding a settlement for injury is there.
The very fact of prior injury can and could have contributed to what occurred.

Whether or not he had recent surgery is still open. But the site does say more information is forthcoming.

UPDATE: More information has serviced, and a story will be released at 6 PM EST Wednesday that blows the Freddie Gray settlement/surgery/car accident story WIDE open

So I am going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the surgery has also been confirmed.
But we will see.

But why you would think a parent would be truthful is beyond me.

Well yeah, that was the point. And rest assured that FOX news is on it.
Well Fox does seem to investigate that which the other MSM wont. So
Regardless.
We have others who are doing it and that was provided.

Lol !!

Don't you hate it when the Police keep charging you repeatedly for crimes you didn't commit ?

Such a nuisance isn't it ? But its something that every American has to deal with, right ?

Since everyone including all Black people have a rap sheet of charges a mile long with no convictions we can ignore Freddie Grays past completely.

Both the lawyer and family says different. But who knows. Seems like we are really not missing much in the world without him.

I read it, sounds like the usual cop hate to me.
