Anytime someone mentions the South and not being robbed for quite some time, the 70's always pops into my head as that was a pretty major decade for robberies. Firearms were so much easier to acquire back then, for everyone, which lead to a lot of daring robberies.Well you learn something new every day. Surprised you found that all the way from Seattle... your Google-fu must be strong.
I'd hazard a guess that robbery was before their current highly armed setup, and probably the cause of it.
I'll ask the next time I'm in there...
I'd also like to know if the shotgun squad is even still around, that'd be fascinating.
