The United States under President Barack Obama has the highest approval for leadership among world powers for the second consecutive year, with 45 percent of those surveyed worldwide rating it favorably in a Gallup Poll. President Vladimir Putin's Russia drew the lowest ratings, with 22 percent of those polled in 134 countries viewing him positively and 36 percent disapproving of his leadership, Gallup managing director Jon Clifton said as the survey taken last year was presented Tuesday in Washington.

Hardly surprising, Russia in 2014 earned the lowest approval ratings globally for the eighth consecutive year and posted the highest disapproval ratings it has received to date.

Whenever there's a hurricane or earthquake around the world who is one of the first on the scene? The US military. People amaze me; everyone hates America until they're receiving some welfare after getting smashed by a natural disaster.

We are the most consuming yet a very giving nation.
 
This is one of those polls that you have to struggle to find the meaning for. Is it better to be at the top, the bottom, or the middle? I can't believe they wasted their time with this one.

It's no secret that Russia is the pit of the Earth. I don't need to read a survey to tell you the world feels bad for the decaying Russian people.

Anything that doesn't mesh with your anti-Russian ideology is dismissed as propaganda, it seems. I cannot count the number of anti-Russian posts you have made. Why you are so fixated on them is beyond me.

And, though I cannot speak for Montecresto, there is a massive difference between being anti-Ametican and being anti-America's-meddling-and-destructive-foreign-policy.

All of my Russian oriented threads/posts are well sourced. No arcane blogs, conspiracy sites, or opinion pieces. If the truth hurts, tough nuts. I've lived in some of the lands Putin is attempting to subjugate, and it doesn't sit well with me. When Putin ceases his aggressions in Eastern Europe, I'll back off.

Until that day comes, I'll continue to publish Russian domestic missteps, foreign aggressions, and overall hypocrisy and make sure the good people on this board and our board guests better understand what Putin is up to and how he is trying to forcibly reclaim and resurrect the Soviet empire.
