Blue Bell recalls all its ice cream products over Listeria concerns

Nothing, it's just good to be young and healthy

*looks back on post 40 years from now*

"**** you younger luftwaffe..."
Enjoy it while its lasts, dude. 40 years from now you'll need helping going up the stairs and will be wearing a diaper again... ;)

Sucks this does. BB is the best ice cream

Actually I'm not a customer of their ice cream. I just wanted to make sure our DP members knew about this.

I think, based on what the head of Blue Bell said on the news, that they will resolve this issue.
I for one will continue to enjoy Blue Bell products. (when I can get them again.)

I will too and admire the company's overabundance-of-caution stance by voluntarily recalling all its products everywhere. It's even disposing of them in sanitary landfills just to be sure. This is the first recall in its 108-year history, and I think loyal consumers will stand by Blue Bell.

This has been a tough week for little Brenham, which is also the burg where the now-fired veterinarian shot the cat with her bow and arrow.

Blue Bell is the best there is. They should behead any islamoites that they have working for them.

Reports I've seen this morning are that Blue Bell has had listeria problems at some of their plants since 2010 and now 2 deaths have been attributed to affects of products of theirs.

Better take this seriously folks - we in Toronto and Canada, as posted previously, know all too well how serious it can be.

I don't think I've ever had Blue Bell anything. I'm assuming it's mostly a southern thing?

Mostly Texas, been around a 100 + years here.

Lysteria can be added to the list of Texas exports.

yes, the funniest part is they (perhaps kudos it seems at first) still pack in a true 1/2 gallon; yet the retail price is typically $7 to $8 when not on "sale". Their competition now down to 48-52 oz packages, however, still retails for $5 or $6 (so which is a better deal?, listeria aside). Their flavors and creativity are still stuck in that 100 year old mentality though. Pretty boring.
