The White House announced on Tuesday that President Obama intends to remove Cuba from the American government’s list of nations that sponsor terrorism, eliminating a major obstacle to the restoration of diplomatic relations after decades of hostilities.

For more than 30 years, Cuba has been on the State Department’s list of state sponsors of terrorism, a designation shared only by Iran, Sudan and Syria.

Wow, Cuba has really shaped up in the last few weeks. Just like that.

Note N Korea is not on the list. Nor Pakistan, political, Saudi, again political, nor Rwanda, again political.

That list is as meaningless as the Nobel Peace Prize.

N. Korea was on the list until Bush removed them, which apparently sparked no concern from the right, while those freaks regularly test ICBM's and make threats similar to those that come out of Iran. Opposing the removal of Cuba is nothing more than opposing Obama.
