McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President[W:241]

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

You sound angry now. Like that old meanie Senator McCain! Bad tempered Canadians....such ugly people.

Did you know who's now in first place in the NHL? I'll give you a hint. They were blue, play in Madison Square Garden, and have a sexy goaltender.

LOl, after the hate and bull**** aimed at me and Canadians this past week end, I am tenuously even here so get off my ass about rude. There's enough xenophobia in here to start a new movement.

Two, who owns the Stanley cup...it is not the NHL..try "Hockey Canada".

Three, how many American teams have only American players? You don't own a sport because you have cities than can afford to overpay players, not when most of them are Canadian.

I am done here

I sense jealousy. Lots of it.

I wasn't on here all weekend. Who was picking on you?

And by the way, my post wasn't serious.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Bull****. Check his voting record.

Ahhh...I see. You have absolutely no understanding of what I said.

So it goes...

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Stop using "eh" this instant!

You use all our oil, steel our salmon, make fun of beaver, take all our comedians* and laugh at dog sleds, I WILL NOT tolerate the hijacking of the only contribution Canadian culture has contributed to the English language other than "Moosehead".

* Thanks for taking Justin Beiber though

My apologies...but I just can't help it. You see, I'm a man of the world and I've picked up little things from all over.

Because of my time living in the South, I constantly say, "y'all". I lived in Texas and now say, "Howdy".

"eh" is a little different, though. I have a step-Aunt and Uncle and a slew of step-cousins who live in the Vancouver B.C. area and I hail from North Dakota. Now, they don't say "eh" in ND quite as much as neighboring Minnesota, but when I go back to visit, they know what I mean.

btw, I wish I could convince y'all to take Beiber back.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

I don't have to, I'll rely upon the findings of the UN, various Human Rights organizations.....and even South African scholars.

Yeah well, that's not good enough for me. Sorry.

Not ever a chance. Period.

although it is not possible to strip one of Canadian citizenship, we do have no go lists and he ain't coming back. Diana Crawl either {Kroll].

A slew of cousins eh?

I will alert the proper authorities

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Let me get this......you are equating the NFL with Netanyahu?
Go back and read ... no I'm not making that equation.

Diana Krall!! Oh...she's a keeper, dude. Y'all cannot have HER back. Beiber can only dream of having her talent.

Beautiful!!

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Yeah well, that's not good enough for me. Sorry.
If those that are at an academic/government level have studied the question and determined that it is in fact an apartheid system/policy....which you find lacking, why in the hell would you ask me personally to explain it? You have no interest in understanding the issue as already shown. You don't even get that sovereignty is 180 degrees from apartheid.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Go back and read ... no I'm not making that equation.

I'll repost:

I would think that of all people, Thomas should be a little bit afraid about endorsing a leader (Netanyahu) that advocates an apartheid policy.

Just say'in.
Is that what the NFL does --- advocate an apartheid policy....
Let me get this......you are equating the NFL with Netanyahu? You are so frigging confused.

The point was that Sowell would rather have Netanyahu as POTUS, a person who endorses and wants to continue an apartheid state. Sowell SHOULD, logically, not want such a thing.....ergo the contradiction.

This has been a real "whoosh" moment for you. Move along, nothing to see here.

You clearly DID equate the NFL with Netanyahu.....and if you did not mean what you clearly wrote......you can't even bring yourself to explain what you MEANT TO WRITE.

DERP!

Let me paraphrase --- "NO SENSE OF HUMOR"

HERPA DERP!

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Let me paraphrase --- "NO SENSE OF HUMOR"
It wasn't a debate about the "humor" (you are confusing me with another poster), it was about the self contradicting logic of Sowell.....that you have not been able to comprehend throughout this debate of ours.

What part of I making a humorous post is confusing you? Do you think you know me better than I do? Do you think I don't remember making that post or why I made that post?
You're going to post something even more stupid now... go ahead.... don't let me keep you from it. :coffeepap:

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

What part of I making a humorous post is confusing you?
what is confusing is your use of "I"instead of "me" and your initial understanding that I was not commenting on what you found "humorous".
Do you think you know me better than I do?
Straw, I never made such a silly claim, nor would ever care to "get to know you". Honey, I'm just not that into you.....all I am trying to do is to point out that Sowell (always) makes no sense. His "joke" contradicts his supposed beliefs.
Do you think I don't remember making that post or why I made that post?
The only thing that makes sense for your shift from trying to understand the argument.....to retreading a past response after your failure to understand my point......is that you have become utterly confused with whom you are responding to.
You're going to post something even more stupid now... go ahead.... don't let me keep you from it. :coffeepap:
Sorry, "humor", "jokes" and "stupid posts" I leave to you.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Sorry, "humor", "jokes" and "stupid posts" I leave to you.

I always forget I have to use small words and very simple concepts with you. Me (not I) posting humor is too far above your pay grade. Lesson learned.

My expectation that you could see the contradiction in Sowell's "humor" was false.

Lesson learned.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Hamas

Hezbollah

Palestinian Islamic Jihad

Mahdi Army

Al-Qaeda

9-11 Hijackers

Taliban

And other assorted terrorist groups, including the Houthi's in Yemen. Iran has its fingers in a lot of terrorist attacks throughout the world.
Wrong. Iran only supports the first two on your list and the US has removed Hamas as a terror organization on its list. And Isreal supports far more Al Qaeda affiliated terror groups than Iran does like Al Nusra and Jundullah.

I'm thinking this issue is off topic, so I won't be responding any further...except to leave you with this:

Maybe this topic will arise in another thread and we can continue this discussion.

Good day.

Foreign Terrorist Organizations

10/8/1997=HAMAS

The date is the date the organization was designated a foreign terrorist organization. It is still designated as such.

Good day.

We can agree to disagree but that link presents nothing more than accusations with no factual proof. The same could be said for Isreali and US support for AQ affiliated terror groups so once again we are back to square one.

Foreign Terrorist Organizations

The date is the date the organization was designated a foreign terrorist organization. It is still designated as such.

My mistake, it was the EU court that said so: EU court takes Hamas off terrorist organisations list - BBC News

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Closer. Hamas is still on the EU Autonomous Terror List pending appeal, and all assets are still frozen. It should also be noted that the court ruling being appealed was based on procedure, not a denial that Hamas is a terror organization. Further reading: EU to appeal ruling that Hamas should be off terror list | Reuters

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini noted in a statement that the General Court made its ruling on procedural grounds. As a result of the appeal, Hamas will remain on the EU's terrorism list and its assets will remain frozen pending a judgment by the Court of Justice, the highest legal authority.

The General Court found that the decision to sanction Hamas, which Israel holds responsible for years of violence against it, was based on media reports, not considered analysis.

America and the EU should take down Hamas and Hezbollah from their terror lists. Both those groups are an Isreali problem which was caused by the Isrealis when they illegally occupied land in the first place and those groups should have no bearing with US-Iran relations.
