McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President[W:241]

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

How can anyone be a war hero when they babbled sensitive information to the "enemy"?

And you would have held out though, right? Because you are sooo tough. Go read up on what was going on there before you make any other silly comments like this.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Obama could gain my respect if he did likewise.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

The universal story of our POWs is that everyone breaks under torture. McCain, like most, held out as long as he could. McCain, unlike most, was offered a sweetheart deal including an early release, and refused it, signing up for more abuse, because it would have been unfair to his fellow POWs and violated the Code of Conduct.

McCain refused special treatment, even though it cost him incredible pain and suffering. When have you ever known either Obama or Hillary to refuse special treatment?

And then he came home and stabbed his fellow vets in the back. Scumbag.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

McCain is a joke. He talks about Obama not having foreign policy, I've never seen a more waffling and unsubstantial foreign policy agenda than the McCain one. His solution to every problem is the same. The only thing is, his "solutions" have caused the problems he is "fixing."

>snipped<[/QUOTE]

Why do you find that so amusing? Don't you believe me? If not, why not?

I think you have "McCain" confused with "Kerry". ;)

Ahh how sweet Tres. Now go do your homework. You're better than this. He has consistently stabbed his fellow veterans in the back. Quite the charmer.

Do my "homework"?

How did he stab you (I believe you're a vet) in the back specifically?

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

I know you are infatuated with Chamberlain, but this thread is about one of your idols, John McCain. I would worry more about McCain's actions than I would Chamberlain.
Perhaps you're thinking of Wilt Chamberlain in comparison with Barrack Obama and his basketball prowess.

Neville Chamberlain was the leader of a country, just as is B.H.Obama. John McCain was never leader of a country and remains a US Senator.

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

McCain is the last person to be talking about temper tantrums. With clenching jaw and beet red face...he always looks like he's about ready to blow a gasket....

Pathetic little man.

"Pathetic little man"? Would you mind posting Senator McCain's military experience against Obama's? Include Joe "The Draft Dodger" Biden's military record while you are at it.

Please name special treatment of Obama and Mrs. Clinton.

Many POWs who knew mc same say mc same wasn't tortured.

Name how mc same was tortured.
The Vietcong knew he required special treatment, which is why he was hospitalized and not shot on sight.

I think now I know why cons believe waterboarding and other forms of torture isn't torture in their minds, because it works?

Ya'all know mc same broke his bones upon ejection of the aircraft, right? He ain't no hero, he's a songbird.

Mc same vs Obama, oranges to apples comparison, try again.

Why the irrational hatred of McCain all the sudden? I have never heard anyone claim McCain had it cushy at the Hanoi Hilton. Except for you. Mind linking to your supposed 'evidence.'

Google is your friend, look it up.

Joe "The Draft Dodger" Biden's military record while you are at it.

Considering Republicans have Dick 'Deferment' Cheney in their camp I don't think either side should get into a pissing contest on which side has politicians who dodged the draft.

Ahhh...yes...the typical leftist refuge when they cannot substantiate their leftist attack rhetoric: Look it up. LOL!!

Surely, you can do better than that, eh?

Re: McCain: Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President

Is that what the NFL does --- advocate an apartheid policy when they trade players, draft players and get players from the free agent list? Who knew the NFL was all about apartheid! :lamo

And who or what should Thomas be afraid of exactly?
Let me get this......you are equating the NFL with Netanyahu? You are so frigging confused.

The point was that Sowell would rather have Netanyahu as POTUS, a person who endorses and wants to continue an apartheid state. Sowell SHOULD, logically, not want such a thing.....ergo the contradiction.

This has been a real "whoosh" moment for you. Move along, nothing to see here.

Thank you for the history lesson.

Sowell clearly predicated that with "If politics was like sports..."

Politics isn't like sports.

"Whoosh" indeed.

LOL. No, that's not how it works. You make the claim. YOU back it up. I don't have to go chasing every stupid comment around the internet to find out if its true or not. I will just assume you are making this up until you prove otherwise.

Do you have some evidence of this claim?

...Are you serious?

Many POWs who knew mc same say mc same wasn't tortured.

 if so, I am not aware of any who are credible when they do so. The North Vietnamese tortured their prisoners, and on top of being a pilot (whom they hated), McCain publicly embarrassed them. He has lasting damage from it - the kind that you get from serious physical abuse.

I don't do other people's homework for them. If you were really interested in finding truth or a dissenting view, you would do some looking around out of "the box".

Here, I'll give you a small crumb, the rest is on you.

It helps to have the canopy open and be in sort of a fetal position when ejecting from an aircraft, as opposed to a skydiving position. But you and I know that he was not one of the better pilots flying planes.

Note in this video how the pilot's arms and legs are close together until after the ejection and not before

Disturbing to see all this vitriol and slander being flung McCain's way, to see the least. Partisan hatred is strong around here.
