Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett leaked to the press details of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail address during her time as secretary of state, sources tell me.

But she did so through people outside the *administration, so the story couldn’t be traced to her or the White House.

More likely Jarrett does not want the Clinton Foundation crowding out the Obama foundation funding, and they do not want Obama to have to share the stage with anyone once he leaves office.

It will be interesting to see if this plays out to be true and verified (even acknowledged by the White House or Jarrett), but regardless Valerie Jarrett is a political weasel and ths certainly sounds like something she is capable of doing for no specific reason other than spite.

Yes, and it remains to be seen whether the Republicans will be able to (1) once again pick out the only viable candidate among a slate on non electable nincompoops, and (2) actually be able to refrain from shooting themselves in the foot once again during the campaign and (3) get their guy elected. Should they not be able to demonstrate the ability to take victory from the silver platter offered up by the opposition, then we'll be stuck with whomever the Democrats finally do nominate.

And then the Republican led Congress will once again have as its primary goal not the solution to problems we face, but attempting to make the new POTUS a one term president.

History repeats itself.
