Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’ [W:170]

Re: Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’

EXACTLY, Obama doesn't care because he will be eight years out of office when Iran is strapping nukes to the tips of regional ballistic missiles.

Your solution would be?

Re: Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’

Obama is a lying sack of **** and a fool, can't be trusted.

Well I know he causes a highly emotional response on both the right and the left.
They all lie like rugs.

What is Canada's solution? I see you people sitting on your asses second guessing everyone here.

Really - sitting on our asses up here is your answer. Is that your final answer?

Re: Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’

Obama started the negotiations by easing sanctions on Iran. The sanctions that Bush had at the end of his term were much tougher than the sanctions that Obama is enforcing. International negotiations require the proper application of strength. If you give away your strength at the beginning it's not called negotiation, it's called begging.

Re: Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’

Your solution would be?

Total isolation sanctions. Both nuclear development and being the worlds leader of funding international terrorism is very expensive.

Seems you have NO answer.

Yeah I do, but it would be wasted on you.

Probably lacks logic.

Re: Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’

Obama has proven himself to by a lying SOS, please forgive the rational people who now refuse to take him at his 'word'.

All presidents are liars, all!

Then why should rational people blindly trust Obama on such an important world issue?

The letter to Iran said the exact same thing your war-hero John Kerry said in a PUBLIC hearing, ie the Obama agreement would not be legally binding. So Kerry should be charged with treason too?

Because the partisan is blind! Neither Obama or any other president should be blindly trusted. And you know what, they shouldn't be trusted with eyes wide open either. All leadership from the top down should be held accountable, regulated, scrutinized, archived, monitored and verified by the real rational people, those with fidelity to America and her constitution, not partisan hacks who can't be trusted either. Btw, what makes you think Kerry's my war hero, I despise war!

Are you really going to tell me you didn't support Kerry in '04? Remember his opening 'war hero' line, he saluted the camera and said ' reporting for duty'. That was one of the biggest political screw-ups in history, right there with Dukakis in the tank. He reminded me of MASH/Frank Burns applying for a Purple Heart after getting an egg-shell in his eye.

I support independents, and once RP.

So I must ask.... What good is a non-binding agreement?

Why trust at their word, in addition to Saudi Arabia, the most prolific state sponsor of terrorism on the globe?

What do you mean non-binding agreement?

How would an agreement be binding?

World powers have been in talks to begin lifting UN sanctions against Iran if a deal is reached in upcoming nuclear discussions, media sources said. A UN resolution would make the deal binding, bypassing recently voiced objections in the US Senate.

P5+1 in ?secret talks? to lift Iran sanctions if nuclear deal reached ? report ? RT News

So the UN lifts all sanctions, but it still allows Iran to continue to research and develop nuclear fuel and technology, based on some BS non-legally binding agreement Obama puts together where the Iranians promise to be good and play nice. Then all of a sudden one day Iran announces it has and tests a nuke bomb. Do you really think the UN will be able to re-impose sanctions or any other penalty AFTER Iran goes nuclear?

Russia and China both sit on the US SC and both want Iran to go nuclear so they can continue to sell them tech and material.

Re: Obama Says Nuclear Deal Offered to Iran Is ‘Extraordinarily Reasonable’

I'll withhold judgement of the deal until we get to see what the terms are.... but I'm skeptical simply because I don't trust Obama's definition of "reasonable", and he' hasn't really proven himself to be very good at the whole foreign policy thing.

in any event, we're just spectators in the game... simple serfs watching the lords play their games.

Obama is not just bowing to the ayatollahs, he is on his knees.

No, if the security council were to pass a UNSCR, it would be binding.
