A lot has changed in the 15 years since Colin Powell was at State. Did they have an government email set up for him? Did he use email? Did he have his own server? Had the 2009 law been passed yet? Come on. Seriously, try to show at least a little intellectual curiosity here. Many on the left are criticizing her for this so its OK for you to do it.

Now stop and think about this. Obama has an office, he has a cabinet under him. He is briefed daily on the goings on. Before this surfaced in the press, it had to surface as rumor and innuendo, someone would have had to lead the NY Times to this little ditty...

Now along the way people are going to hear about it, INSIDE government long before it gets into print. Do you seriously expect us to believe that Obama did NOT get briefed that this might surface??????

If so, he is the most dangerous president to have ever been in the Oval Office, reckless and incompetent as well as stupid. What kind of executive is ignorant of one of the high level executives in his command is doing at that level? A very, very bad one, or a dishonest one....and gee, have we seen a serial liar at work here? Have we heard this before? Wasn't it Benghazi in the first place....?

According to him, the man is governing based on TV.

You can't see the big deal because you haven't looked, another second post "there's nothing here..." base on White House talking points. Instead of knee jerk reactions and howls of protest offered as the first response to a thread, maybe read a few and learn something.

If the Department of justice runs an investigation on the people that pay their salaries, the outcome is pretty much assured.

If Obama tells Holder that there is nothing there to find, Holder will find nothing.

As much as I dislike the POTUS, I actually believe him in this case. Of all the things POTUS has on his list of priorities I am guessing how someone has their email server configured doesn't event make the list.

Powell said it would be inappropriate to comment on Clinton’s email use. The State Department’s policy on personal email accounts dates back to 2005, the year Powell left the administration.

“When I entered the State Department I found an antiquated system that had to be modernized and modernized quickly,” he said. “I started using in order to get everybody to use it, so we could be a 21st-century institution and not a 19th-century [one]. But I retained none of those emails, and we are working with the State Department to see if there’s anything else they want to discuss with me about those emails.”[/B]

Nixon could have and very probably did so with that famous 18 minutes that are missing from the White house Tapes.

However, he saw himself as a temporary occupant of the office that belonged to the people and that the taping system was a method of recording history that he felt was important.

Our current administration has no such allegiance.

If it does not contribute to winning the next election or garnering higher contributions, it is not important.

Right now.....all are thinking about who emailed Hillary and who received emails from Hillary. As well as who knew she was using a personal account.

Hillary is going to have a very real need to protect a whole lot of people. Real quick like.
