I know it's unfair, but I have to claim a little latitude from time to time for the sheer fun of it. I think another democrat candidate will emerge beyond O'Malley. It remains to be seen who that might be, but not too many thought Obama was much of anything before 2006. We'll see. I do watch Baier - that's about all I watch at Fox, and it is right leaning, but it's reasonable and informative with good comment. Krauthammer is dour, but nonetheless likeable and representative - also very good at times. The rest of the panel is usually a liberal leaning commentator sandwiched by Krauthammer and another slightly less strident conservative. I do watch Wolf Blitzer sometimes simply because I like his deer in the headlights look.
Watching the All-Star panel is getting easier for me, including Krauthammer.
Hayes is calming down, Juan is good, and the left-of-center guy yesterday was very well-spoken and went tough on HRC.
Besides the email pounding, which will now start each Special Report until the next election,
the thing I like the most is how fast-paced the first 35 minutes is and how many big issues they get to, usually without snark.
I wonder how well they'll speak of the good economic news today. :lamo
The biggest story in my mind right now is Iran helping Iraq against Daesh and its future ramifications.
Sen. Menendez has a real problem with the Feds, which broke today.
As a Politico, I'm enjoying the newly drawn lines in the GOP House feud, between the Freedom Caucus and the AAN(elites).
I don't like calling Freedom Caucus leader Jim Jordan a far-rightist, though he would probably accept that.
Jordan's a former NCAA D1 Wrestling champion, my main high school sport even now as a retired teacher and active coach,
and he has a son and a nephew at the same weight class in D1 that are highly rated--I hope to get to see him at Nationals .
