I dunno. I think most people can see that how a person does as president has exactly jack and **** to do with their skin pigmentation. Maybe in Canada it would be an issue, but the US is a little more advanced.
Dr. Carson is a fine man with a lot of sane, reasonable positions on serious issues. He'd likely be a fine President.
That said, and I'm going to get slammed for saying this, but the current occupant of the White House has made it virtually if not literally impossible for another black person to succeed to the office of the Presidency anytime soon. Had President Obama not been seen and considered to be a disaster in the office, things would be different but sadly that's not so. Just as Geraldine Ferraro made it impossible for another woman to get on the ticket, let alone succeed for over 20 years, Obama will do the same.
